Local Deer Does Magic

Hey, if any other ppl who use the Bible in bibliomancy wanna help a fellow Christian magic user out, I'd greatly appreciate it!

I've been feeling mostly good but also anxious about the path I'm currently taking. I want to get a degree in EnviSci (probly concentrating on conservation). So I was like, "Hey, why don't I ask the Gud Lord™️ for Their opinion?"

I got to passages entirely by intuition. Got 3 of em at once:

1) Gen 50:12-14 - "So Jacobs sons did as he commanded them; they carried his body to Canaan and buried it in the cave at Machpelah east of Mamre in the field in which Abraham had bought from Ephron the Hittite for a burial ground. After Joseph buried his father, he returned to Egypt with his brothers and all who had gone with him for the funeral."

2) 2Kings 18:13 - "In the 14th year of the reign of Hezekiah, Sennacherib, the emperor of Assyria, attacked the fortified cities of Judah and conquered them"

3) Hosea 10:13-15 "... Because you trusted in your chariots and in the large number of your soldiers, war will come to your people, and all your fortresses will be destroyed. It will be like the day when King Shalman destroyed the city of Betharbel in battle, and mothers and their children were crushed to death. That is what will happen to you, people of Bethel, because of the terrible evil you have done. As soon as the battle begins, the King of Israel will die"

So 1 is about death, and the other 2 are about losing in war. And I'm just like

Am I overreacting? Or am I fucked?

(to clarify I don't think I'm gonna literally die or anything. It's just concerning to me that 3/3 passages involve death/sorrow/defeat, and 2/3 are about negative consequences of various actions)

Looking at these energy healing posts has been making me feel pretty restless for some reason? But also I’m pretty drained energy-wise in a way that grounding and centering doesn’t fix.

The other night we had real bad storms on the south side of Chicago. And in my backyard our peach tree got pushed over and a no longer active electrical pole fell over and landed on our wires. There were also many other trees in our neighbors' yards that fell or broke 😢 But we had to bust out the candles and cuz my room was too hot, I slept in the livingroom. I was all ready to do some spells and rituals and grabbed some of my crystals, my notes, my cat skull and companion! But basically I just ended up feeling energy from different things and recording their differences in feeling... I'm kinda proud I can start to feel the differences now, and how strong I could feel the energies. But I'm also disappointed that I didn't have time/energy to do more. I feel like I wasn't very productive. And I know that's not exactly true. But I never get opportunities to have candles lit and have an atmosphere that im excited to do magic in. So I was semi-hoping the power outage would last longer than it did.

Went to neo hippie type store, bought mini Himalayan salt light and sea salt/sage candle. Went to antique store got bottles (one is an apothecary jar with stopper!!!!!). I feel like my biggest "hobby(?)" is without a doubt witchcraft. (I don't know what else to call it other than a hobby at this point. It's an extracurricular non-job. Like its more than a hobby. But I don't engage in any other hobbies rn so idk)
