what she means: do you ever think about the fact that Judas Iscariot was really doing the will of God when he betrayed Jesus? everyone always talks about how it was Satan, but really, what could Satan possibly get out of the death and resurrection of Christ? Christ's resurrection just made Satan's job that much harder, because now everyone had a direct connection to God and to forgiveness; it would have been in Satan's best interest to keep Christ alive. Christ was meant to die from the start; it was God's plan; Judas was just a pawn in a game that had been set up since before the universe was created. yes, Judas had a choice; he could have chosen not to betray Christ, but someone would have had to take his place. Jesus would have to die no matter what, Judas was just the catalyst. through his betrayal Christ was able to take on the sins of the world- did that include Judas' sin? we know how penitent and wracked with guilt he was; was he forgiven for the roll he played in Christ's death? was Judas allowed into Heaven after his suicide?
