My brother's Skyward Sword experience thus far without context
Online tutorial: the golden horse should take a stamina wheel and a half, two at most :) you may need an elixir if you're unlucky
Me, who has THREE stamina wheels, drank two full elixirs and then overfilled my stamina wheel twice and STILL got bucked off: oh is that all
It has come to my attention that this is not a universal experience
My toxic trait is just calling the Depths "downstairs"

I'm actually so salty right now something happened with my save and I lost a good chunk of my progress in Adventure of Link
I'm all the way back at Death Mountain and I'm about to yeLLLLL
I'm on my fourth Palace! Took me a PATHETIC amount of time to get here (LOOKING AT YOU DEATH MOUNTAIN) but I'm FINALLY getting the hang of it! Especially since I got the hammer. Shortcuts are all over the place.
Right now I'm trying to clear up the island palace by the graveyard, and I actually already got to the boss, but he takes and deals quite a lot, hence why I needed the attack and life upgrades.
Going back in now to give him a peice of my new stats 💪💪
Can you believe I used to be scared of goriyas
I just farmed like 5000 of them to upgrade my attack and life and now I can confidently say goriyas ain't SHIT
I should play the og Zelda next
Ive been really wanting to play Adventure of Link lately out of nowhere
Throwback to the very first stupid braincell that got me obsessed with Adventure of Link
Ever seen a blood moon in Typhlo Ruins?
Riding a deer to Hyrule Castle~
Attention first time skyward sword players!! I want to know your reactions so far and your opinions on the game/playablity! Maybe even seeing what you're looking forward to as the game progresses?
HELLO HI YES!!! Not to be over the top, but I think this is one of the most amazing Zelda games I've ever played.
I understand how the motion controls might not be a lot of people's thing, but boy, has it immersed me. I just love them. It keeps me on my toes! And the game itself is gorgeous. The colors are so vibrant, the characters are lively (both the npcs and the animals/enemies), the story is SO engaging, there's lots to do, and the SOUNDTRACK. THE SOUNDTRACK. Every track is catchy and unique, I'd expect nothing less from a Zelda game.
Not to mention, I'm sort of picky about a main character, and the amount of life put into them. Link in Skyward Sword is full of personality, and not just in dialog ('am I late?' The sass. I'm never getting over it.) He's so expressive, vividly showing happiness, anger, fear, determination, awe, not only in his face but in his body language, it's fantastic! The cutscenes especially really let this boy shine. You can really see the life in him.
The dungeons. The DUNGEONS. The atmosphere and layout of the Ancient Cistern and the Sandship especially were immaculate, but Skyview Temple and Lanayru Mining Facility were both noteworthy as well. Right now I'm at the Fire Sanctuary, so I haven't quite finished everything yet, but the game hasn't disappointed me yet. I hear Fi was a bit too hint heavy in the original, but I'm quite satisfied with her involvement as a companion in the hd playthrough. She's always there to give me a push in the right direction if I need her. (Even if I do prefer to solve the puzzles by myself most of the time. They're great puzzles!)
So far, I've been completing the main story and returning to Skyloft to upgrade and complete side quests in turns. I complete a dungeon, return to Skyloft, knock out a few side quests and collectibles, and then go get another dungeon and repeat. I think this has given me personally the best experience of this game, not too fast, not too slow, just leisurely. I do hope to complete most of the side quests by the time I finish the game.
One last thing. Groose is valid. LD-301S Scrapper is NOT.
Anyway! Thanks for letting me gush about this game. I think this is the most fun I've had in a while. It's definitely earned a place in my favorites.
I'M SORRY IF I SEEM INACTIVE SKYWARD SWORD HD OWNS MY ASS
I love this game SO MUCH but my joycon drift is literally killing my progress. How to fix drift 😔
I thought Link and Zelda's relationship was just going to be regular interactions and that the fandom generally overplayed it for the sake of shipping (guilty as charged), but I was dead wrong, okay. I was dead quacking wrong, I stand corrected, there is no way these two aren't hopelessly in love with each other.
The pining. The pining is tangible. Their playful interactions in the beginning?? Immaculate. These two making the biggest doe-eyes at each other every time they share the screen?? Impeccable. Theyre head over heels. They're in too deep. There's no saving them. It's beautiful.
