YOOO OKAY HEADCANON TIME WTF

Okay so tony let’s peter work in his workshop with him right, bc like father son bonding and all that, sometimes they’re doing their own things, sometimes they work on projects together, sometimes tony helps peter w/ homework or they just kinda chill, whatever.

and we know that tony listens to ad/dc and whatever else and just like blasts music when he’s working, but peter?

peter watches vine compilations

like sometimes he too just blasts some of his own music in his corner of the workshop (or asks friday to turn up tony’s music on his own speakers bc tony listens to some pretty rad music) but he’s a gen z kid and sometimes it’s just nice to have netflix or youtube playing even if you’re not watching it and just using it for background noise

so peter watches those like one hour-two hour vine compilations because there’s hundreds of them (not to mention playlists) and they’re really easy to put on and forget about them, plus they’re not super distracting, you don’t need to get invested in them like you would with a tv show or a movie (sometimes peter does go back and re watch some of his faves but he pretty much puts it on and let’s it run.)

and tony is like, the king of multitasking so he’s obviously focused on what peter’s up to, even if they’re both working on individual projects, and sometimes,, he watches the vine comps out of the corner of his eye???

 peter’s just has youtube up on tony’s computer systems (most of his work is on his laptop so he has the vines running on tony’s systems) and sometimes tony will overhear a weird or funny vine that makes him chuckle, most of the time he can’t make sense of anything he’s hearing bc vines are for the most part very reliant on the visuals, so he gets friday to save the links to the compilations peter watches (he has his favourites in a playlist he just kinda lets run when he doesn’t wanna have to think about weeding through bad compilations) and tony watches them when he’s alone (when he misses peter!!!) and like??? learns about vines

and he doesn’t want people (peter especially) to know bc???? he’s 48 he’s not supposed to know what vine is.

but at some point a reference,,,, just slips out.

there’s so many good ways that tony could out himself as a memer i just,,, i can’t even think of one but when it happens,,,,, peter will lose his shit jskhadfg

y’all can believe what you want but tony stark was more distraught about losing natasha at the end of civil war than he was about losing steve. like i’m sure tony feels really guilty about how things ended between him and steve, but i don’t think he really misses having steve around bc steve was always just??? on his ass for everything all the time??? 

but nat on the other hand?? 

he probably misses her so much, like he probably didn’t ever really see her that often but whenever he did they would just hang out or just chat and just be super chill, and even when he didn’t see her for days or weeks he could still feel her presence in the tower and just feel her energy and know she was around doing whatever she does when she’s alone, and after civil war that presence was just,, gone,, and im sure tony could just feel how empty the compound is without that presence and just,,, he probably just really misses her
