One Last Hawkins Summer • @strangerthingsreversebigbang

Words: 18,000 Rating: Explicit Pairing(s): Eddie Munson/Nancy Wheeler Character(s): Eddie Munson, Nancy Wheeler, Wayne Munson, Steve Harrington, Dustin Henderson, Robin Buckley, Corroded Coffin, The Party Tags: getting the hell out of dodge, bisexual Eddie Munson, pre-Steve Harrington/Eddie Munson, minor Jonathan Byers/Nancy Wheeler, worshipping of Nancy Wheeler as is only right and correct, outdoor sex

“Uh,” Eddie says. “Hey Wheeler.”

“I’m leaving Hawkins at the end of the summer,” she says fiercely. “And I’m not coming back.”

“Oh,” Eddie clears his throat. “Good for you.” It’s a very popular sentiment around town these days, personally Eddie thinks it should be put into practice across the board.

“You’re coming with me,” Nancy says, in a tone that doesn’t really invite discussion or argument.

“Um. Okay?”

Seriously? That’s all you got, man? But before Eddie can get through fully kicking his own ass for that weak response, Wheeler’s giving him a nod and a flash of a satisfied smile, before getting back in the car and onto the road without so much as another word or glance at him.

Eddie Munson has never had a friend like Steve before. He's just not used to having friends that are his age, that don't have some power imbalance with. So when Steve starts to hang out with Eddie, he's so shocked that they're friends, he doesn't realize there may be something else building.

Hey! I got the fantastic opportunity to work with @oh-stars for the @strangerthingsreversebigbang event. She's been great, and it's been so fun and fascinating getting to watch an entire plot develop around my illustration.

E, tattoo shop au, pining, getting together, idiots in love

Not for the first time, Eddie was really regretting his decision to book a client on a Friday night, a new client at that.

It wasn’t as if he had anything better to do, exactly. There were no dates on his calendar, and going out to random bars and clubs on the weekends to look for quick hook-ups had begun losing its appeal lately.

But it’d been a long week, and he’d much rather be getting ready to plop down on the couch with Chrissy to split a bottle of red wine while they watched Drag Race, than preparing to do a cover up for some idiot who’d gotten their girlfriend’s name tattooed on his body, only to fall victim to—The Curse.

Ask any tattoo artist and they’d be the first to tell you, there was no surer way to guarantee a breakup than to ink your significant other’s name on your body

Ask any tattoo artist and they’d be the first to tell you, there was no surer way to guarantee a breakup than to ink your significant other’s name on your body forever

And yeah, it probably wasn’t fair to judge the guy before they’d even met, but there were only two kinds of people who tended to make that particular mistake—dumbasses, and hopeless romantics. He just kind of assumed his client fell into the former camp, rather than the latter.

Eddie had just started wiping down the front desk counter, which doubled as a display case for the various accessories and body jewelry they carried trying to kill some time between his last appointment and cover-up-guy, when Chrissy came walking out of her studio.

Who's Sorry Now?

When Vecna goes after Joyce Byers, it's a race against time for Jim Hopper and Jonathan. And it's a tumble through nightmares for Joyce, until she realizes that sometimes a person's horrors can also be weapons.

Words: 4632 Rating: Teen + Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Relationships: Joyce Byers/Jim "Chief" Hopper Characters: Joyce Byers, Jim "Chief" Hopper, Jonathan Byers, Henry Creel | One | Vecna, Steve Harrington Additional Tags: Horror, Body Horror, Nightmares, unreality, implied spousal abuse (past), Creepy Dolls, Broken Limbs, suggested child abuse/injury (illusion) It's been a pleasure working with @farahsamboolents for the @strangerthingsreversebigbang. It took me two attempts to claim this art, and I'm thrilled I managed to snag it in the second round. Thanks to @skepsiss as well for the beta.

wager all the hazards of love • @strangerthingsreversebigbang

“I’ve been bringing my flock over these hills for years,” Steve offers. “It’s nice, this close to Hallow’s Eve, around here. The apples,” he gestures towards the stranger with one of them, and takes a big bite. “The leaves changing color,” he says, spitting bits of apple inelegantly into the fire. They pop and sizzle when they hit the flames, briefly filling the air with a spiced, earthy smell.

“This close?” The stranger looks at him, eyebrows raised. He’s got such an expressive face, Steve almost wants to seize him by the cheeks and see how he can stretch it, press it, what shapes it might make in his hands. “How close?”

“To Hallow’s Eve?” Steve loses track of days out here, so he has to retrace the last few sunsets, how many of them have passed since he last waved goodbye to Robin as he brought out the flock. “I don’t know… a week? Little less?”

“That soon,” the man says quietly. Stares into the fire, expressive face gone still. “Almost out of time.”
