Cybersix - The Final Confrontation
The final episode of Cybersix is about an impending doomsday explosion, and our hero/heroine knows she might not make it back alive. Loose plot points are all taken care of before she rushes off with Dataseven to the home of her creator/nemesis.
There are some unanswered questions throughout the series that this episode tries to at least shed enough light on for you to come to your own logical conclusions, but still leaves a few things decidedly ambiguous. Were this episode not called "The Final Confrontation", it would leave enough open at the end to set up for a second season (assuming there was more material in the original comics to draw from).
Final grade: solid A/A-. While it's not always completely coherent, and there are some mismatched musical cues and cartoony sound effects from time to time, Cybersix is an engaging, fluidly-animated crimefighter/mystery series that uses a distinct art style and memorable characters to deliver a well-rounded and thoroughly enjoyable show.
One of the best action series I've never heard of, to be honest. :)
That must be one hella good fanfiction he's writing...
Jose is such a great villain character. He wants so badly to be the best villain out there, but he's still so immature that it usually interferes with his plans. He's kind of like a young Jack Spicer in some respects.
And he makes the best faces!
