Wandering the whole of universe and all the galaxies, Jim wonders sometime if he will forget what it's like to be home. The universe is overwhelmingly large, even for Jim and standing on the bridge looking out at the vast blackness, he feels that he might drift away. "Jim" Spock's voice is like gravity and when he takes Jim's hand, looking out, suddenly home feels right here. And with their hands intertwined, the space is just a stroll under starlight.
Spock has seen sunrises on Vulcan, of course all plantes of civilizations revolve around a star & it is so illogical to fuss over that natural phenomenon like humans do. Until one morning when the Enterprise is in the Earth's orbit & they are turning towards the sun & Jim's eyes catch the light and the next thing he knows, Jim is holding his hand & Spock can feel his breath catch in his throat because he will make a million suns rise to watch it with Jim.
I need a 10k+ fic of this
Imagine Spock sitting in a garden/forest floor with his hands behind, sort of leaning back, enjoying the sun and Jim just rests his face on Spock's shoulder/chest & both have their eyes closed & are silent and the sunlight filtering through the trees falls on them.
This ask single-handedly cured my anxiety
Jim Kirk + looking absolutely thrashed at the end of every movie
