I have them all. I don't delete them. I am just not in the mood to write anything which isn't Alethaine and Tiriel centered. Sooner or later I will take a break and write everything you've sent me. I don't want to force myself writing things I don't feel inspiration for - they will turn out shitty and boring anyway. Again I have them all! The oldest are from December, 2023. I will write them ^-^
I wonder if people still read Headcanons? I have plenty of requests to write them and I love doing them but it seems like people read them less and less.
Vampire Spawns in the Underdark headcanon
- Vampire Spawns no more. They are Free Vampires. And gods save you if you call a free vampire their old name
- Some of the spawns lost their minds and souls . They became ghouls, monsters with no reason
- There aren't 7000 vampires in the Underdark. Their number is smaller. The Free Vampires never tell you what they did to their ghoul-siblings
- The former spawns have nothing in common except for their condition. They were eventually divided into a dozen groups according to their personal preferences and beliefs
- Free Vampires still hunt sentient beings especially lonely travelers in the caves but there is one law for everyone. Eat but don't kill
- Free Vampires know if they leave a blood trace, they will be massacred, guilty or not. Punishment for murdering a sentient being is death
- The Vampires of the Underdark constantly quarell with each other. There is too much pain and guilt between them. It is not uncommon for a former spawn to yell "See you never, mothersuckers" and leave the Underdark for good
- In 100 years, 1/3 of the Underdark residents are dhampirs. Some were born there, some came looking for their undead parents. Dhampirs created a guild "Children of the Blood and Pain" and specialize in monster hunting
- Once in a while a Free Vampire comes back with a kid, who they couldn't leave above in "the cruel world of the mortals"
- Vampire Lords avoid Faerun at all costs - Free Vampires aren't that strong but they are plenty
- The only Vampire Lord who dared to come to Faerun was brutally killed by a Free Vampire and her three dhampir grandkids
- Astarion sometimes goes to the Underdark to check on his siblings but prefers not to stay long. There is too much pain and guilt between him and people he brought to Cazador. Things can be forgiven but not forgotten
