When Satoshi and Nyaheat return from the past, they see that Pikachu and the others look all bruised and tired?! It turns out that when Satoshi suddenly disappeared, Pikachu and the others had a huge adventure while searching for him. June 23rd: SM127 - Gladio and Lilie! Chasing a Father’s Phantom!!
Satoshi and the others have gathered at Lilie’s house for Z-Move training when Lilie introduces them all to the mythical Pokémon Magearna, which for some reason isn’t moving. Lilie explains that her father Mohn obtained Magearna when she was a baby, and that she absolutely wants to get it running again in some way or other. In the meantime, Gladio has come to Melemele Island for a very specific reason.

I am SO ready for this episode. Oh, the Screenplayer, Aya Matsui, was also involved in SM108. Nice, nice, I expect great things!
June 30th: SM128 - The Curtain Rises! The Alola Pokémon League!!
Satoshi and the others have finally arrived at Manalo Stadium, where the Alola Pokémon League will be held. But the Rocket Gang and the Skull Gang are there as well; Guzma has come to the league venue in order to destroy it. July 7th: SM129 - Brawl! Battle Royal 151!!
The Battle Royal Preliminaries have started. This is a survival match where 151 Pokémon and Trainers will fight, and the 16 winners will be able to continue to the knockout round. But with all these strong competitors present, will Satoshi and the others be able to secure a spot? Interesting, I wonder what happened. Also, this very much debunks Gaogaen at least from Sm125 onward, we still don’t know whether Satoshi gains something from the episode or not.

Welp, the end of the road begins. It’s going to have a week break during the league as well due to movie premiere being just 2 weeks after this ep, so we’ll have 2 league episodes, a break, and then continuing on.
