I love the BW! rivals, even the ones that act like jerks are secretly (or not-so-secretly) softies when it comes to their Pokemon or even their rivals, but the second they let that slip, they gotta cover it up with fakey fake jerkiness to save their cred.

continuing with the month, it’s bustershipping! drew this to detox 

Pink orchid: love, beauty, refinement nah

The “Lan” in Langley (Georgia)’s rendered as “Ran” in katakana… which reminds me of orchids (ran in Japanese, lan in Chinese!). Hence the pink orchids over Shootie’s eye.

Purple carnation: capriciousness, changeable

I felt purple carnations were best suited for Shootie (it was either that or forget-me-nots and I’m not quite so mean), so that’s what I gave Langley. \o/

These are separate because they have actual scenarios and stuff. Just fixed them up because they’re not terrible, I just got stuck on the faces looking off, so I had to fix them.

The first was because @azaleecalypso (and others!) wanted Alan to apologize to Manon for this entire mess. So have him on one knee. Apologizing. But it wound up looking too much like a proposal or something, isn’t this going too far for an apology?!

Langley/Georgia and Shootie/Trip because I was still (still kind of am, I need to draw it again) stuck on this odd little ship and that height difference is so much fun to play with.

Please do not tease the shortstack photographer, give that back, please.
