her costume is supposed to be giving vintage superhero and I was so tempted to give her a Robin style mask

anyway!! Im very much of the habit where I make one general oc for something and then reuse them for other fandoms as well, Kaidou has been my superpowered/mutant oc since.. gosh.. forever...

A bit more about her is she is in her 20's, since the plot i've got in my head takes place around a lot of classes, I have been toying with the idea of her having fried her brain a little and being in such intense fights from a young age inducing Night Terrors/Hypnagogic hallucinations. Oh and she will refuse to play any form of card game with you because she SUCKS.

If youre wondering where she is now and what Ive been watching that brought her back enough for an actual design, I have a very rough and all over the place MHA college au that spurred the idea :,) And thinking back on where she first popped up, i think it might have actually been the same anime! But that is all less important tbh.. I just wanted to show you all the babey

finished a reattempt sketch today and i wanted to display the difference some reference images make, i feel like i always try to stress how useful they are because well.. they are really useful!

the one on the right isnt necessarily a bad pose, but the dynamic pose on the left is what i was going for, and i achieved it much more succesfully with some references

been desperately wanting to get into gw2 fanart SO i thought id start with some sketches of one of my toons. Aspen!! very creative sylvari name i know but i think she is very pretty,, i gotta render out a proper piece!! (no gamers.. i dont have tsb.. but im half way thru crafting it and i am manifesting!! I did craft Ipos yesterday thoughvv, gotta draw my main so I can include her leggies tbh)

currently working on like 10 different wips so i thought I would post some of Laws redesign work instead of falling off the face of the earth!

I went through a buncha paint iterations and landed on the one above, the great thing about clones though, I can use the others for his brothers!

I have spoken a bit about how they end up with their red paint, but i dont think I've mentioned that in the same battle Law was closest to a large blast. He didnt quite manage to reach cover, but any effects from the blast were only short term other than some scarring. His armor doesn't shatter enough to fall off, completely, but in the heaviest areas the pieces did cause damage to his skin underneath.

I do also have some rough sketches of his facial redesign, but procrastination has stopped me from getting very far lmfao

i have always pictured Law as a pretty conforming clone, he is stern and by the book, so with the more his character developed in the au, the less his og design resonated with who he was. Hence the changes :)

The original prompt I came up with was based off an adjective, noun and verb, so altogether it was a rotten mage who stole others life force. You dont see much of the rot as she opts for big big hat! But i plan on doing a turnaround for practice and including her face in that!
