I want to watch gintoki eat his parfait and sweets 0-(-( I ate some soft pancakes topped with quite a few strawberries for dessert a while ago and the WHOLE time that I was eating it I couldn't stop thinking that gintoki would have loved it. If I could I would share it with him but alas 0-(-(

YES ABSOLUTELY I support rewatching gintama (bc that's what I've been doing HAHAHAH). I started rewatching it earlier this year bc I missed gintoki too 0-(-( I still tear up and cry even though I've watched the episodes before aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I'm currently at the be forever yorozuya movie, then when I'm done I'll move on to season 4.

It's just that if I don't continue working on my skills#I'd lose out when the next semester starts 0-(-(#doing some suggested projects by my professor and personal projects

If you're looking for reader insert fics, sadly, I'm not sure of anyone else who's actively still writing for Gintama :") I can only recommend fics that were posted a while ago (I'll leave them below the cut in case you or anyone wants them)

If you're looking for general character fics, I'm only currently aware of @/bossladytae 's fics on AO3. Her latest gintama fic on AO3 was posted only a little over a month ago. She's still active in the fandom too as I've seen her reblogs on my dash recently.

yeah the fandom is kind of dead right now but I'm guessing that the Ginpachi-sensei anime that's expected to come out in 2025 might revive it? I'm not expecting a booming popularity kind of revival but I hope Gintama does gain some new fans (AS IT DESERVES!!) I need more Gintama content myself like someone let me indulge in sweet moments with Gintoki please !!!

and omg speaking of those two Sougo fics (the fact that you still think of them makes me feel very honoured),,,, ngl I really want to write the mafia one but I can't seem to think of an actual storyline for it. Though now that I think about it, I could write like an episodic thing. Well, something to consider!! but probably not so soon, needa tackle this Gintoki fic first. There's still one chapter that's still kind of bare. I think I got myself a nice title though, inspired by a poem. I may change it on a whim but for now I'll title it a blue sky glimpse.
