Speaking of Natori and kitty cats I have been thinking lately abt how if social media existed in the natsuyuu universe Natori would 100% cause Nyanko sensei to become a viral internet sensation on accident

You know his agent is on his case abt not posting enough on social media so he starts posting just like. random inoffensive photos/selfies to his official insta or smthn, except he accidentally uploads one with Nyanko sensei in it one time when he’s hanging with Natsume after a job. He tries to delete it of course, but its the instagram account of a famous celebrity so everyone Definitely screencapped it already, and he immediately gets 1000s of comments from people dunking on him for his “hideous cat”

He tries to address it by just telling people the cat is his “cousin’s” and hope that it all goes away but no one actually believes him (and his agent and managers are desperate for the free publicity) so he finally caves and asks Natsume if he can film Nyanko-sensei

And so he reluctantly uploads a short video of him ‘introducing’ Nyanko-sensei that definitely features him having to ask Natsume (who is off camera) “what the cat’s name is again” and Nyanko sensei trying to bite him at least twice

He hopes that people will stop bothering him after that, but they do not and instead it becomes a running joke in interviews and fan events for people to ask him how his ‘cousin’s’ ugly cat is doing

(also not sure what’s funnier, if this is how Nishimura finds out that Natsume is friends with famous actor Natori Shuuichi, or if he just convinces himself that Natori’s cat is identical to Natsume’s in every way by pure coincidence)

At the risk of being 2024's biggest clown jester, but uhhhhhh... they might have confirmed that we'll be getting the miharu arc in this season? Matoba's voice line in the trailer (which sounds a lot like the one from chapter 92) ended up being different (accurately adapted from chapter 89.5 instead) when that scene aired in this week's episode! 🥳

I say this with confidence because matoba's "人でしたか？それとも妖怪？" (was it human, or was it youkai?) line that was laid on top of his train station appearance for the trailer was nawtttt like that at all for this episode (as has a different line for it)! 🫡

Now, after the axis of his world was tilted askew, Seiji wanted to see what eye color that all of the kittens' would develop just as much as he wished to see how retirement would fit itself for Shuuichi, for them both together. For once, he stopped himself from tucking his true intentions in between the lines for Shuuichi to read, and so Seiji let his sleep-muddled mind do the talking, croaking out the truth as he cupped his boyfriend's face. "I just wanted all of us to grow old together. Is that too much to ask?"

Or: after finding a litter of kittens post-exorcism, Seiji and Shuuichi has been taking several day offs to care for the lovely devils, but nothing lasts forever when both of their demanding jobs awaited them, leaving no one to care for the young felines. Seiji wasn't ready to let them go.
