So I decided to do a fun clean up job of the new Madoka image for the new concept movie (apparently any news of it was around late November of this year, but this is the first I’m hearing about it lol)

I wish I could have made cleaner lines, but my hands have been shivering the past few hours, so that’s not fun.

Ahh, these were fun to draw. The large drawings of the island are laid out so that we could zoom all the way in on specific locations. The little geode in the last image is the one that you see fullscreen sized when Lars, Sadie, and Steven are cooking.

As usual, Amanda and Jasmin make me look a lot better than I am. The painting they did on this particular episode is bananas, and I’ll be stealing from it for my own means for a long time.

FEAST - Part 2 - Dog falls in love with Food/Boy

Right after Frozen and before Big Hero 6 I jumped on to help Patrick Osborne with his amazing short called Feast. These are just some quick rough thumbnails with me just playing around trying to visualize from an outline. I think Patrick did an amazing job of refocusing the short so that food is always front and center - it got back to what his original pitch was for the short. Very honored to have helped out on this project.

Kill la Kill (キルラキル) initial costume designs for Ryuko and Satsuki’s Nudist Beach styles. The concepts were brought to life by director Hiroyuki Imaishi (今石洋之) and used as the model for Sushio’s more polished versions on the right, featured in the pages of The Art of KLK Vol.2.
