Note that I have no idea if it would work in star wars / clone wars but I’m on the verge of sleep and It’s all I can think of
Yasu ‘s au is settled where the Milky Way (mostly earth centered) is part of the SW univers, aaaand yeah I thought maybe combining different types of sword fighting techniques with the Jedi’s, and in this case, medieval.
She already uses a double bladed lightsaber and with one side on + the grip’s length, it can act like a long sword.
Anyway, mostly the point of this gauntlet it’s to protect the palm of the wearer (why it’s beskar) if, for exemple, they want to use half-swording in close encounters (additional push on the ‘blade’ too), deflect the opponent’s strike or punch your opponent square in the face with your non-dominant hand (might not be strong but still pretty hard)
Anyway, it’s a concept that might not work but is still fun to think about
