🥲 dont tag my art with incest ships please and thank you?
I wonder what Mae got up to this Harfest 🎃🍂
The secret to a long lasting relationship is finding someone who hates leaving their comfort zone and then wiggle your way in there. You wiggle your way right inside their comfort zone and then you're there. By the time they notice you're there, they'll just sigh like "oh great, now there's a creature in here", but they don't want to move out of their comfort zone, and tossing you out of there would now alter the air pressure and constitution of the comfort zone too abruptly and it would pop like a bubble.
That's how you keep a relationship. You weasel your way inside someone's comfort zone and make yourself an essential component of it, so now they, too, will have to make sure that your dumb ass stays in there. Their comfort zone now has a fucking creature in it, and it's not going to be the same comfort zone if the creature isn't there.

It's crazy to me that the Neopets Battle Dome TCG is rated higher than Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Magic The Gathering on board game geek.
always blows my mind as a european when people talk about states like “yeah theres nothing in ohio/montana/wyoming/etc” because i look at a map like but. but theyre so big. every state could qualify as its own country what do you mean theres nothing there. and then i ask people from those states and theyre like “yeah theres nothing here” what do you mean theres nothing there!!!
What’s in the steppes of Russia, or the northern forests of Scandinavia? What’s in the Sahara desert?
id like us to sit here and identify some key differences between the sahara desert and ohio for a moment
as a former Ohio resident I think that the key difference is that the sahara probably has more jobs unrelated to meth
untapped meth market in the depths of the sahara desert
I forget that most people ship things because they want characters to be in a happy relationship and not because they want them to have weird sex things with atrocious psychological consequences
Do I think they would be happy? No. Don't be silly. I think their relationship ends with one of them threatening to either kill themselves or kill the other, or both. I think they talk about each other to their therapist. I think they're the reason why each other sees a therapist. I think one or both of them is this close to ending up on the news because of the other. You wouldn't understand my vision
her eyes were the sickly green of the sky before a tornado, and to his horror he discovered she could throw cows around just as easily

Post is set for a week, let's see how it goes...
I think it is very important to more widely discuss the facts that
- it is possible to abuse someone unintentionally and unknowingly,
- it is possible to be abusive towards or harm someone you truly do love,
- engaging in abusive behavior is not necessarily caused by being a fundamentally evil person,
- it is possible to be traumatized by the actions of someone which were not done with intention to hurt you, and
- it is possible to be hurt or traumatized by an interpersonal situation that is not best characterized as abuse.
This is for several reasons:
- It will make it easier for someone to realize and recognize if they are engaging in abusive behaviors towards someone else (because often times they will think: I am not an evil person, so what I do cannot be abusive), and stop this behavior and make amends to the target.
- It will allow people to recognize their trauma and heal. (For example, one may think, "I must be imagining any emotional trauma-like symptoms I am experiencing, because I know my parents loved me! They did some things that hurt me, but other than that they treated me well. They are not bad people." It is still entirely possible to experience trauma from such a situation.)
- (less likely) It may deter people from labeling an interpersonal conflict or a toxic relationship as abuse when this label is not applicable in that situation.
"A cishet person must have made this, no queer person would ever portray queerness in this way."
"This artist must be white."
"No SA victim would ever handle the subject in this way."
"No woman would ever write women like this."
"This creator is obviously neurotypical. Everyone with autism/ADHD/depression understands-"
Nope.
People who make these blanket statements are very frequently proven wrong when the creator comes out as a member of that group. And even when they aren't proven wrong, even in cases where the creator isn't from the group in question, actual members of the group who don't fit whatever arbitrary criteria are being expressed will see these statements and feel excluded and erased.
Not everyone in your group is going to share your experiences. No single individual gets to personally decide what does or doesn't count as a "valid" expression of trauma or being part of a particular group, and creators are also not obligated to out themselves in order to "prove" their validity.
If something doesn't resonate with you, all that means is that it doesn't resonate with you. You don't have to like it. But you don't get to decide what it means to someone else.
And she's finally out !! An in depth character layout for Toyhou.se, featuring an interactive design inspector and whatnot... and a fully custom WYSIWYG editor which allows you to fill out the code without ever needing to touch the HTML!
Do you know Diddl?
As a kid in Germany especially in the 90s and 00s I think it's impossible to not know Diddl. But what about other nationalities? Have you ever heard of Diddl???
For reference:
This is Diddl:
a german character that started as a postcard set and then turned into a nationwide phenomenon, especially known for its trading pages.

Finally finished this 😭 Another @vannral fanart, this time for on these calm waters.
I can't reccomend vannral's bloodweave fics enough. They are emotional and sweet and have some of my favorite Gale and Astarion characterizations out there 💜💜💜 This particular scene at the bathhouse got me real good~ pre-relationship tenderness makes me feral
