Since this semester began, I feel I've really started getting more direction with the things I want to make and enjoy doing. Once I graduate I really want to get back into making things to sell on etsy... I messed up my last etsy shop big time, but it's because I was making things I hated making. So over the past few weeks I've been designing my new store, logo, and latex designs for my shop. I've even been thinking about selling some screen prints, paper, and artwork, too. Over spring break I'm going to gut my basement and make a little latex and art workshop. It makes me happy to think I'll get to make things I love all the time once I graduate until I can get a full time job doing this kind of stuff.
Sometimes I wish a certain someone could see all the things I've accomplished recently... especially the fact that I make latex clothes and cosplays now. I made a latex Evangelion cosplay and latex Persona cosplay catsuit for only $100 with tons of leftovers while someone spent almost a grand on a catsuit that's not even accurate to the original design. And asked me to chip in money for. 😊👌 I absolutely hate bragging and don't mean to, but in all honesty I'm just really proud of myself for doing something I never thought I'd be able to do- something people didn't take seriously when I said one day I'll make latex clothes. I even wear latex stuff out now, like to go out or even to class and everyone thinks it's pretty cool which is surprising and encouraging. Just really happy with where I am right now along with my other accomplishments, like everything I've learned to make this semester at school, people I've befriended, and a close few I've deepened my relationships with to a degree I never thought possible. But yeah, this is my one "in your face" post that I really wanted to make and will probably never make again. It just feels good to have friends and family believe in me and support my new hobby.
So I finally actually finished labrys! I didn't finish her axe in time but the fact that I was able to complete one of my dream cosplays from scratch after many failed attempts made me so unbelievably happy. I may or may not have cried when it was all on. #labrys #persona3 #persona4 #persona4arena #latex #rubber #fetish #latexfashion #anime #manga #videogames #otaku #cosplay #katsucon

Costest of my Zero jr. Cosplay! It’s like… 80% done, still have a few things left to do, but I couldn’t resist trying on what I have already XD
Can't wait to scare all the kids at nycc
So excited for my Zero cosplay!! Jacket just needs the front straps and it's done ^-^
Almost done making my latex Zero jr. jacket! All that’s left are the three front straps. All made and patterned from scratch :3 Can’t wait to have a nice tragedy at nycc!
Outfit from the Sanrio grand opening yesterday in Times Square. For once I actually felt cute and was stopped a lot for pictures
If anyone has my picture from Animenext please let me know!! I was Esdeath Saturday and Sunday. I took a picture stepping on someone, that would be great to see too XD
Almost finished sewing everything for my Esdeath cosplay! So excited, I just pray it's not too hot at animenext ;A;
Finally finished the Nero arm for my boyfriend's cosplay! Its a latex glove I cast myself off of a mold I made, then painted it with homemade rubber paint. I think it's pretty decent for my first time doing something like this!
