“Aaah yeah… The captain’s got kind of a history with that stuff. You should ask him about it. He loves telling that story…”

“Now that sounds like one hell of a good story if it’s left that big an impression on him.” She grinned, making herself more comfortable. 

“Come on, now, that was an accident. No, I was just making sure you’re alright. You’re the pilot, after all.” She pulled her feet into the chair, resting her chin on her knees.

Wash chuckled, shaking his head at the memory. “Yeah… I bet it was,” he said dryly. “But thanks… I’m good. Get’s a little quite up here, so the visits welcome – as long as there’s no poison…”

He narrowed his eyes suspiciously. “Nope. Not that I can think of… Why?”

“Just thought I’d drop in and see how you were doing. Plus, I like looking out from here. It’s so beautiful and peaceful.”

“It’s a helluva view, isn’t it? And never gets old either. But I’m alright - can’t complain, anyway. Well, I could but… I’m not gonna. For now.”

“Need anything?” She asked, moving to sit in the chair next to the pilot.

“You need something? Or is this just a social call?”

“Just thought I’d drop in and see how you were doing. Plus, I like looking out from here. It’s so beautiful and peaceful.”

"See, I knew I picked pilotin’ for a reason! Gotta be indispensable, y’know? As for the wife, I can’t take a whole lotta credit for that one… Still tryin’ to figure out what she married me for. But hey! No complaints!"

"Seems to be a bit of a trend...Warrior Woman fallin' for an adorable..." she paused, looking for the right word, then said "...sweetheart." She smirked sllightly--her original word choice had been idiot.

"Is that a yes? Please tell me that’s a yes…"
