I used some black leather and a faux fur pieces I had in my scrap fabric pile to make a vest for a bear I got from the thrift store, I think it turned out pretty cool! >:)

I used a leather needle to poke holes into the leather, then went in with a regular needle and some string to sew it together, it was pretty difficult, but it was worth it! ʕ ꈍᴥꈍʔ

Then I added some pins, buttons and black safety pins to the vest. I also used the black safety pins as piercings, bracelets and a choker.

I got this shaggy, caramel-coloured yarn a little while ago, and I thought it would be the perfect colour for a teddy bear. He’s made of all round crocheted shapes, has some old couch cushion fabric for the inner ears, and has two dark brown eyes and a nose stitched on.

I’m thinking of the name ·₊˚❀·₊˚☆Caramel Corn☆˚₊·❀˚₊· A simple, food-themed name that matches his fur colouring ʕ ꈍᴥꈍʔ <3

Here’s a little sweater that I made for my bear recently. It’s made out of four squares I had already crocheted a while ago, I was gonna use them in my big blanket, but the colours didn’t quite go together, so I saved the squares for a different project.

I was able to use up all of the squares (more like rectangles though) and also used some of the leftover yarn to crochet some small side panels on the body of the sweater for more room.

I haven’t had this bear for a long time yet, I actually found him at a thrift store not too long ago. He was originally a Christmas bear with a hat and scarf, and was in need of a good bath. I took off the original accessories (especially because they were in icky condition), handwashed him as well as I could and now he sits on my bed with my other plushies :3

I’m glad the sweater worked out, esoecially considering it’s just made up of rectangles. This was a nice small project (^v^) <3 I think I’ll try make him a pair of overalls next.

This bear was made by my older sister when she was first learning to sew from our grandmother. He’s a bit fragile and some parts of him were hot glued, and I think he was made from some sort of old couch cushion fabric or something like that.
