Fourteen Fabric Scrap Fishies!
They were a pleasant little experience to make and a nice way to use up some of my smaller scraps of fabric, as well as some other items I had in storage that I wasn’t using for anything else.
I kinda see them as luck charms or even little protection tokens, so I’ll probably place them around my room (especially in the corners), and a few of my favourites can go on my water altar¯\_(ᵕᴗᵕ)_/¯
Went on a trip to the beach recently, it was such a nice cloudy day :-]
I actually found some sea glass this time! ☆˚₊·o(>ω<)o·₊˚☆ I've never found sea glass myself before, the beaches I live near aren't really "good" beaches for that. The pieces I found are very small, and not all of them are quite weathered enough, but I'm happy with them! :)
I also got some oyster shells (coffee-dyed now), a cockle shell, and some gastropod shells. I finished some necklaces too: a four-leaf clover penny pendant and a wire-wrapped ammonite, both with a mix of wooden, metal, glass and plastic beads.

Some little fish I made out of scrap pieces of fabric. I also decorated some of them with some wood chip beads, stitching, buttons and a bit of crochet. I like to think of them as little luck charms! <|:3

A necklace I made with grey freshwater pearls, fishing line and a grey scallop shell.·₊˚.♆.࿐༄࿔ ₊·⋆
Here’s some more of the shells I collected recently. I stained all of them with coffee, since I like how it looks better than their previous, sun bleached state.
This is a batch of just oyster shells again, with some more that have holes already in them and some nice barnacles growing on them :]
All of the oyster (and at least oyster-like) shells from the beach a little while ago. All were found empty, but most still had both halves attatched, so after I cleaned them, I let them dry in a closed formation while the hinge part was still wet and bendable.
