Here’s the youngest of the toad triplets. I used more olive green, furry fabric for their underside, with some dark, kelp green corduroy for their upper body. I also used some brassy buttons with some sort of crest with lions and stars on them, they kinda remind me of coins or doubloons.

A dear friend of mine pointed out that the furry fabric underside on one of my other frogs reminded them of the fuzzy underside of a beetle, so since this frog also has the same fuzz, I’ve decided to call this frog ♡⚘𓍊𓋼 Beetle 𓋼𓍊⚘♡

I liked the fabric combination of my previous frog so much that I wanted to try it out on another one, but in reverse. This frog has got shaggy olive fabric on top, and darker olive fabric on his underside. I also used some cool partial metal buttons.

His name is 𓍊𓋼𓍊𓋼𓍊  Grouch 𓍊𓋼𓍊𓋼𓍊 He’s the second brother of the triplet frogs I made yesterday <|:-)

Because this yarn colour is such a nice green, and I recently got a few new zippers, I made another crocheted pouch toad! Though only the top half is crocheted, the bottom half is a very soft olive-brown fabric.

I think I’ll name this toad Laurel, because of the colour of the yarn, it looks like a bay leaf type of colour to me. They kinda ended up more ghoulish-looking than I intended, but I still love them <3

I also included a couple photos of a simple little creature I made. I found a ball of fur in my craft supplies and decided to give it a face :>

I started this project to kinda “use up” some yarn I have a lot of (or only a little bit of). I wasn’t sure what it would be quite yet, I just started sewing squares and shapes together. But recently, because of the shape it began taking, I’ve decided to try to make it into a heart-shaped pillow <3

I used some of my more unique and textured yarns in this project, and for the more plain patches, I did some embroidery of simple shapes with my yarn needle.

I’ve seen this style of gnome around in stores a lot lately. I’ve always liked gnomes in general, they’re nice little garden fellas, but I had never particularly wanted the ones I’ve seen, so I decided to make my own!

I used pinecones for the main body structure, some furry fabric for the beards, yarn for hair and felt for the legs (plus some other fabric overtop). The hats are two triangles of fabric sewn together and the noses are small chestnuts and a tiny pinecone. (Also, two of the pinecones I used are scented, so they smell like cinnamon!˚₊·⋆。)

They were a pretty nice and quick craft to make, I mostly used hot glue for attaching everything, with very minimal sewing. I’m happy I was able to make my own little gnomes with materials that I like and I already have! :)

I think the name 🌣∘∙𐐪𐑂 Marimo 𐐪𐑂∙∘🌣 seems fitting for this round little toad. They just look so much like a marimo moss ball (or a bunch of them gathered together), because of the puffy green yarn I used.

The yarn was a little hard to work with, but I think I was able to get used to it alright. I used two dark olive green buttons for eyes and some olive-brownish fabric for a little tongue.

I crocheted a froggy forest ranger dice pouch! ⍋࿐༄⍋࿐༄⍋࿐༄

I decided on the name  𓍊𓋼𓍊⍋ Bryophyte ⍋𓍊𓋼𓍊  because of the beautiful earth-toned, multi-coloured yarn I was able to use. Bryophytes are non-vascular (vascular systems carry water and nutrients upward through the plant and downward to the roots) and seedless plants, like mosses, liverworts and hornworts.

This is my first larger frog that I’ve fully crocheted, he’s also my first crocheted zipper pouch frog! I decided not to put lining on the inside though, so the pretty pattern and colours can be seen on the inside as well :)

The way the rows colours on the top have grouped together kinda remind me of the Strophalos, also called Hekate’s wheel, which is seen as a symbol of hers, especially because of the groups of three in its design.

I’m happy that I’ve been feeling a bit more productive and motivated again lately, and that I’ve been able to think of ideas and work on some projects I’ve been meaning to get to. It was nice making a couple of frogs again <|:^)

Went on a boggy forest walk a few days ago, the teddy bear and bowl were sitting on a bench memorial. It makes me think of some sort of forest guardian and their mossy leaf cauldron. ·₊˚⍋࿐࿔*:・˚₊·

I had originally started making this smaller mushroom frog, before I found my pouch full of already-crocheted mushrooms, and realised I could add them to Grove, one of my bigger frogs. But I’ve finished this little guy now though :)

I’ll name him 𓍊𓋼𓍊𓋼𓍊Shroom 𓍊𓋼𓍊𓋼𓍊  A pretty straightforward name, but I think it fits well enough.

Another more practical project, also made with fabric scraps. I had been wanting to make a pencil case for a while, and that was what I originally wanted to make before, until it turned into the tote bag. So here’s the pencil case that I needed! <3

The scraps I used here aren’t quite as small as last time, I used slightly bigger ones that weren’t as fiddly to work with. I also included the heart imagery to make it especially match with the tote bag, also just because I think it’s cute ♡(•ω•)♡
