☽ O ☾ Full Buck Moon ☽ O ☾

Here’s most of the items that I keep on or near my Nyx altar. There are a couple things I’ve made myself, those being the dark blue pouch, the moon phase altar cloth, a small brown spell pouch (for peaceful sleep), the small spell bottle (also for sleep) and the black pearl necklace.

I keep things I associate with sleep near Nyx’s altar, to honour her son, Hypnos, the god of sleep. I do also try to honour some of her other children as well, such as Thanatos, god of death, on my Chthonic altar.

The other items are: a necklace that has my grandfather’s old signet ring on it, a star-shaped candle holder, a brass candle holder with star cut-outs, various crystals and rocks (mostly blue tiger’s eye, a piece of galaxite and some I found outside), a vintage black clutch purse, an agate (I think) bookend (it reminds me of the night sky with the moon) and some crow feathers that I tied to a bottle (to weigh them down, the bottle also has poppy seeds inside of it, which are associated with Hypnos and Thanatos).

I took these a couple days ago and yesterday. I know I keep posting about the moon, but it’s rare to get a clear enough night to take photos, so here’s some more >:) ⋆·₊˚⋆ ☾

The full cold moon last night. I took the last one and a few others from the window inside and I think the reflection makes a cool multiple moon effect. It was pretty cloudy for most of the night, so I’m happy I could get some photos <|:^)

Here’s some old photos of the moon I’ve had sitting in my camera roll. The three crescent moon (the in between phase of a first quarter half moon and a waxing crescent moon, I think) pictures are from July last year. The single full moon photo is from December last year (cold moon).
