A few froggies I made a little while ago. One of the mossy-looking ones is a frog I made quite a while ago (named ·₊˚Fenn˚₊·), but I recently added the patchwork on the lower side :-)

I also added some similar patchwork to the bottom of another mossy frog fella, I've named him ·₊˚❀⚘ Mire ⚘❀˚₊·, to keep with the wetland-swampy name theme.

I also crocheted a little long-legged frog fella :]

Back at it with a good ol' reliable craft: another frog! This little one's name is .∘.∙.・Driblet ・.∙.∘. Because they're so tiny and round like a drop of dew. ♡˚₊·.

I finally got around to using that cute little round frog pattern I've seen around online. They ended up a little wonky, but I'm happy with how they turned out! :3

I was recently gifted this cute little frog friend!! (^_^) <3 He has wire in his limbs so he's poseable. I made the little sweater for him with some pretty multi-coloured, earth-toned yarn.

I also made one last row for my greyscale blanket. I recently figured out the ghost and eye squares, so I wanted to include them in it.

The third thing I made is a little travel sewing kit. It's about the size of a deck of cards (though much lighter) and has a pocket (for small pools of thread) and two fastened straps inside (for needles and pins). I also used a couple small corks as substitutes for thread spools.

Another minky fabric toad, but a zipper pouch toad this time! I like the fabric so much that I couldn’t resist using more right away :) I used some of the scraps of fabric leftover from making Conker.

They’re much smaller than my other pouch frogs, more like a “coin purse” toad. I used two brown leather shank buttons for eyes and the zipper I used matched the colour perfectly :)

Their name is ☆⚘ Pennywort ⚘☆

I finished this frog yesterday. It’s been a little while since I last made a frog, especially a green one, so I made this little one. I decided to make her a witch hat too, which can be taken off and shared with my other frogs and toads as well.

Their name is ·₊˚⋆☽ ⚘Wormwood the Witch⚘ ☾⋆˚₊· and I’m very happy with how she turned out! ♡ <|:^) ♡

I also recently got my first set of actual dice, so I thought it would be fitting for her to hold them in a couple photos.

I’ve been wanting to make the Loveland Frogman for a while, but I wanted a way to differentiate him from my other frog plushies, so I tried out a bit of a different shape with this guy.

He still does look quite froggish, but I did try to make him a little more “guy-shaped” by making his head a bit more protruding and making sure his limbs stayed on the longer side. He’s also quite a bit more weighted than my other frogs, because I stuffed him with mostly pebbles (and some yarn scraps, to keep him a little soft), so he acts as a bit of a “beanbag frog” in a way.

I think he especially looks like a little guy when he’s sitting down, which really makes him unique from my other frogs. I also gave him a little twig wand in the first photo, since that’s something that the Loveland Frogman (one of them, at least) has been reportedly seen carrying.˚₊·⋆˚₊·。

This is an idea that I’ve had since I saw it in another post before, but I can’t find where I orginally saw it, so I can’t take credit for the idea, but it inspired me so I wanted to make my own version :)

It’s a cyclops frog! >☉)

To keep with the eye theme, I’ll name them ·₊˚⋆ Peeper ⊙˚₊·

I made them the way I usually make all my frogs, but I used two slightly different green fabrics for the top halves, as well as some old couch cushion fabric that’s made many appearances in past projects. I also gave them a tongue poking out, since I thought it would look good for the symmetry.

And for the centerpiece, I used the largest button I had to give them one single dark brown eye.

Another odd-eyed frog, this time with thirteen button eyes >::::::·) I’ve decided to call them ☆☉☽ Oracle ☾☉☆ because with that many eyes, some of them ought to see into the future (and maybe a few unseen realms), right? <|:)

I hadn’t originally planned to make them have so many eyes, but I got suddenly inspired while choosing the buttons for his eyes. I also used some black faux fur fabric for their body, it’s very soft ଘ(୨୧ᵕᴗᵕ) <3

Oracle is one of my largest frogs, they’re about the same length as my other biggest frog, Juniper, but he’s a bit wider and definitely heavier, since I stuffed him with a bunch of old fabric and yarn scraps instead of regular stuffing. I think it gives them a very comforting weight to hold ☾♡˚₊·。⋆

This project also gets me in more of a Halloween mood, probably because all the eyes and dark furry fabric remind me of a spooky spider㇏(•̀ᵥᵥ•́)ノ So this was a nice project to welcome the Halloween season!! <|:^D

Oracle still holds the title of my largest frog.

Here’s the youngest of the toad triplets. I used more olive green, furry fabric for their underside, with some dark, kelp green corduroy for their upper body. I also used some brassy buttons with some sort of crest with lions and stars on them, they kinda remind me of coins or doubloons.

A dear friend of mine pointed out that the furry fabric underside on one of my other frogs reminded them of the fuzzy underside of a beetle, so since this frog also has the same fuzz, I’ve decided to call this frog ♡⚘𓍊𓋼 Beetle 𓋼𓍊⚘♡

I liked the fabric combination of my previous frog so much that I wanted to try it out on another one, but in reverse. This frog has got shaggy olive fabric on top, and darker olive fabric on his underside. I also used some cool partial metal buttons.

His name is 𓍊𓋼𓍊𓋼𓍊  Grouch 𓍊𓋼𓍊𓋼𓍊 He’s the second brother of the triplet frogs I made yesterday <|:-)

Decided to take a little craft break from my crocheted blanket and make another little frog! :D I made this one with two shades of olive green-ish fabric (one is very soft, one is shaggy fur) and used a wooden button for the eye.

His name is ☆⁂ Scruffy ⁂☆, (though you can also call him Scrouch). He’s a tough little fella, maybe a bit of a scrapper, and he’s got plenty of stories to tell like an old sailor.

I’ve shown this frog a couple times before, his name is Squire, because he’s a dice-holding frog.

Anyway, I’ve added quite a few more scrap patches since I last showed him. I did a bit more embroidery with some thread scraps, added some bows, and a couple of the patches (bottom photos, greyish black) are small weaving projects I did on a little loom :-)

I think he’s quite happy with his new look! <3

It’s been a while since I’ve made a frog, so here’s two!! They’re twins I made yesterday. I recently got a bag of zippers from a thrift store and wanted to make some pouch or purse-type things with them. I’ve seen a lot of pictures of coin purses and stuff in the shape of animals with the zipper closure as the mouth, so I wanted to try that out as well.

Since the look of the zippers make their mouths look kinda big and toothy, I decided to name them mouth-related words: ☆ Gob ☆ and ✧ Chops ✧ (Gob is on the left, Chops is on the right). Despite being slightly smaller, Gob is the slightly older sibling and Chops is the younger brother.

I used the same two types of fabric on both of them, but used them on alternating sides (the fabric I used for one’s underside is what I used for the other’s top side, and vice versa).

The pattern I used is the same as all my other frogs, with three pieces (two curved-seam half pieces for the top, one whole piece for the bottom). But I sewed a zipper into their mouths and fitted a round pouch around the inner mouth that goes inside to line them. I did also stuff them a bit before sewing in the lining, but not too much, just enough so they don’t look to deflated when they’re not holding anything.

I’m glad that using the zippers worked out so well, since it was my first time sewing with them. These guys are now valued members of my hand made frog hoard!! <|:^) I’m looking forward to having them as keepers of my trinkets and treasures! .♡⋆˙⊹˚₊·

I recently acquired some beautiful green corduroy, so I decided to make another one of these types of floppy frogs. He’s also quite a bit bigger than the other three I’ve made in the past.

His name will be ⚘࿐༄࿔⚘ Kelpy ⚘࿐༄࿔⚘ (not to be confused with kelpies, the shapeshifting water spirits of Scottish folklore), because of the dark, brownish-green corduroy he’s made with.

I kept him pretty simple, because corduroy is such a nice fabric, and I didn’t want to take away from it. I used some black leather shank buttons for the eyes.
