Feels like it's been so long since I've posted anything, just been doing other hobbies lately I guess :]

But here's some cool black petunias I saw at the local gardening store, their petals were like velvet. Their colour is actually a really, really dark purple!

I tried cross stitch for the first time!! ᘛ⁐̤ᕐᐷ.⋆˚౨ৎ˚⋆. <3

I used some boomark-sized pieces that I think are from my grandmother's supplies that she passed down. I love the lace they have, and the brown colour of the material :-)

First I did an ivy pattern with some grey butterflies and specks. Second, I made a night sky scene with a crescent moon, pine trees, ferns, and an owl on a branch. I've also started a little garden scene, with rows of plants.

It was all freehand, and didn't really thin out the embroidery thread for a lot of it, so the lines are thicker and more solid-looking.

I saw these fingerless skeleton gloves and I thought they were so cool!!! I got so inspired I had to try a version of the idea out for myself! :)

I looked up a sewing pattern online and followed that. I cut out two pieces for each hand and sewed them together. I tried to make them a bit more roomy and not so snug, since it was my first time making them.

I used paint and reference photos to add the bones. It took quite a few layers and they're not perfectly accurate, but I think they turned out nice! 𐐒(୨୧ᵕᴗᵕ) 𓍊𓋼𓍊 <3

I made these little poppets recently, so yet another fun little scrap fabric project! :) I also made a slightly bigger poppet out of some pieces of knitted socks that I repurposed (I didn't knit them myself though).

I finished this poppet a little bit ago <|:) It's made of an old pair of sweatpants that I had previously patched up a few times, but they weren't the most comfortable, so I used the fabric.

I kept the patches I had already made, two of which have constellations stitched on: the Big Dipper and Cancer (my sun sign). It's also got an opening in the chest with a drawstring, which fits the pouch I made for it :)
