Some park and field-dwelling fungi I've seen on my walks. Some of them curl upward as they grow, so they become little cups for rainwater.⋅˚₊‧.
Mushrooms from the local park.
Took some pictures of my usual cups of tea. Nothing too interesting, I just like all of my different mugs (and included some little friends) :-] <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
It's been a while since I posted something crafty, co here's something I'm currently working on! <|:^) I decided to make this project based on this multicoloured I got recently.
The colours and row arrangement reminded me of the reflection of an autumn forest on ripples of water over a lake. To me, the gradient of green to brown and tan is like the colours of fall leaves, and the dark blue like the depth of the water.
To make a more cohesive scene with this concept, I made a simple little house with a few pine trees under a sparkly night sky with a silvery moon and stars. ☾*.☆゚ ˚₊·. I love sleepy nighttime scenes like this, and I'm happy with how cozy-looking it's turning out! <3
Some mushrooms growing in a little grove at a local park.
I'm usually a tea-drinker, but I like my tea hot, and since the weather has been so warm lately, I've gotten into making iced coffee a lot more (and I prefer coffee cold anyway).
I especially like when I can make it look pretty, I just love how all the different shades of brown and cream go together! :3
𐐒𐐚༄࿔˚₊·. The first one is iced drip coffee mixed with vanilla powder, and topped with some sweetened almond milk that I shook up to make frothy :3 ).
𐐪𐑂˚₊·. The second one is "whipped" coffee (instant coffee, sweetener, warm water in blender) on top of vanilla almond milk that I shook up with a bit of cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice.
❀·₊˚࿐༄ And the last three photos are iced coffee mixed with vanilla powder, topped with a sweetened matcha powder mix. This one didn't turn out as much, but it was still good and the bit of green looked nice to me! :3
A small crocheted pie, about the size of a tart... or the perfect size for a gnome! <:-)
Some outfitts and jewellery I've worn over the past little while :)
I crocheted a little button-up sweater for my bear! ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ .⋆·₊♡
I used some foresty green yarns, and I was finally able to use the air dry clay leaf buttons that I made quite a while ago :-)
Feels like it's been so long since I've posted anything, just been doing other hobbies lately I guess :]
But here's some cool black petunias I saw at the local gardening store, their petals were like velvet. Their colour is actually a really, really dark purple!
A couple of scrap fabric critters I made recently, a lizard and a turtle. It feels like it's been a while since I've made just some simple lil' guys like this, it was nice! <|:3
I wore a lot of the new earrings I made recently these past few days.
Some outfit photos from the past while. ⚘˚₊· ࿐༄࿔ ₊· .
I tried cross stitch for the first time!! ᘛ⁐̤ᕐᐷ.⋆˚౨ৎ˚⋆. <3
I used some boomark-sized pieces that I think are from my grandmother's supplies that she passed down. I love the lace they have, and the brown colour of the material :-)
First I did an ivy pattern with some grey butterflies and specks. Second, I made a night sky scene with a crescent moon, pine trees, ferns, and an owl on a branch. I've also started a little garden scene, with rows of plants.
It was all freehand, and didn't really thin out the embroidery thread for a lot of it, so the lines are thicker and more solid-looking.
Some more progress on my third crocheted blanket. I added a few more rows of colour onto the big granny stitch square and made some more skulls.
I also did a row of ghost squares, and I'm working on some eye squares as well <|:-)
Some stuff I've worn over the past while <|:-)
𓍊𓋼𓍊 𐐒(୨୧^ᴗ^).⋆·₊˚ I'm crocheting another blanket!! ˚₊·⋆. (^ᴗ^୨୧)𐐚 𓍊𓋼𓍊
This one is more of a variety of colours than my other two, though still mostly in the medium to dark range of colours (and warmer tones) ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ <3 <3 <3
I'm also trying to use more interesting stitches and squares, like the ones I learned while doing my greyscale blanket <|:-)
