Today in class a guy was asked about his ideal wedding. When asked if he would prefer his future wife to be walked down the isle with her parents and a grand entrance he adamantly agreed.
Not five minutes later he was asked how he would feel if he was walked down the isle at his wedding instead.
This was his response: “I’d be pretty embarrassed. I’m a grown ass adult I don’t need my parents to give me away. ”
The double standard in his statement escaped him.
