The most important thing to remember is to never give up. Never, ever stop trying. And don’t be afraid. Everything happens for a reason, including failures. And, yes, in the beginning it may be terrifying and hard and you might want to just roll over and die, but in the end you’ll survive if you just keep pushing through and stay strong. It can seem like the end of the world if you’re not picked for an audition or if you mess up your variation or even if you have a bad class. But if you don’t try it, and if you don’t go for it with every fiber you have, you’ll never know how well you might’ve done. What’s the worst that could happen? You could fail. And that’s when you have to ask yourself: can I live with this? Will my whole life crumble if I don’t get that step right or if I don’t get that company I want? And honestly, the answer is no. You won’t die from setbacks. And if you play it right, that may be the thing that gets you the farthest.
