Similar to what I did with my Stolas "redesign" (Which is more accurately described as my AU's version of Stolas), I made a Paimon "redesign". Mostly I just chose a different owl (snowy owl) and gave him the same style as [my] Stolas (harpy). There's more about my version of Paimon below the cut if you're interested ->
The last of my virtues, Ramiel !
In my AU, Heaven, much like Hell, is run in seven rings based on the seven virtues, "Humility", "Patience", "Temperance", "Charity", "Chastity", "Kindness", and "Diligence". Ramiel is the virtue of Kindness and leads the Ring of Kindness that orbits the palace of God, also known as Heaven's "Sun".
Disclaimer: This isn't based on much of anything in biblical lore (that I know of), I just thought the idea was neat and ran with it 👍My characterizations of these angels and heaven in general also may or may not follow biblical lore and that's okay! I'm just having fun with what little I do know and wish to share it
One of the animals listed to symbolize kindness was "deer". And because I was thinking of the myth of the white stag at the time, Ramiel was granted the status of White Stag. He came out more animalistic than probably necessary, but it was fun anyway and befits his character. Due to him being paired with [my] Leviathan, he got the same different colors on each side.
Ramiel is, surprise surprise, the kindest of the angels. He'll do just about anything for anyone if they ask him nicely. He loves answering questions.
6 out of 7 angels! Cassiel exists
In my AU, Heaven, much like Hell, is run in seven rings based on the seven virtues, "Humility", "Patience", "Temperance", "Charity", "Chastity", "Kindness", and "Diligence". Cassiel is the virtue of Temperance and leads the Ring of Temperance that orbits the palace of God, also known as Heaven's "Sun".

When searching up what animals represent temperance, camel seemed like the obvious choice to pick from the list. So by this, Cassiel got a very camel and desert esque appearance.
Cassiel is the type to never take more than he needs. He imposes limits on everything he does and dislikes indulging in excess. He has a tendency to encourage others to do the same.
My next angel is Gabriel
He was fun to draw and color in. He's purposely made to look similar to [my] Belphegor ->
In my AU, Heaven, much like Hell, is run in seven rings based on the seven virtues, "Humility", "Patience", "Temperance", "Charity", "Chastity", "Kindness", and "Diligence". Before the sins fell to Hell, the virtues and sins were all created together, in sets of two. While by technicality you could call each pair twins, Gabriel and Belphegor (Diligence and Sloth) are the only pair that actually look similar enough to be considered twins. This was done cause I thought the dynamic would make things more interesting.
One of the animals said to represent Diligence was the ox. With Belphegor commonly being represented by the bull, and oxen and bulls having a very similar appearance, it made sense to make them twins for my AU.
Gabriel is the most serious one of the virtues, and often considered to be a hard ass and can't ever let loose. He worked as a messenger for God for much of his life, constantly going between heaven and earth to deliver the words of the lord. It can be theorized that he became very cold after constantly dealing with humanity and God's various messages.
Angels again <3
Uriel was really fun and honestly one of my most adorable characters, imo. He was purposely given baby face and an almost child like appearance.
In my AU, Heaven, much like Hell, is run in seven rings based on the seven virtues, "Humility", "Patience", "Temperance", "Charity", "Chastity", "Kindness", and "Diligence". Uriel is the virtue of Chastity and leads the Ring of Chastity that orbits the palace of God, also known as Heaven's "Sun".

One of the animals said to represent the virtue of Chastity is the stoat, so Uriel takes on a lot of stoat features. Seeing as stoats are insanely adorable, it definitely worked out. Uriel being the virtue of chastity has made him out to be asexual, but he is not aromantic.
Uriel is a sweetheart. His ring happens to also be the primary home of the cherubs that live within heaven. I use Cherubs in the similar way they're used in canon, where they seem to be the heavenly equivalent to imps.
And, surprise! Another angel oc! Raphael is the angel I found to be associated with the virtue of humility. Though, different sources say different things. Since several the angels listed got put under other Virtues, Raphael was left to humility, which works out just fine imo.

There were a lot of different animals that would pop for what represented humility, especially depending on how you worded the search. In the end, I settled with wolf because I had more ideas with wolf.
I think of Raphael as pretty easy going and fairly intelligent. He's associated with travelers, happy meetings, medicine, and Christian marriage. My take on him has him being a heavenly healer (doctor), though he does commonly consummate marriages in heaven. When he isn't busy with his heavenly duties, he does enjoy occasionally spending his free time on earth, blessing travelers he takes a liking to (Not directly to their faces, of course). Though, this doesn't happen very often.
Another angel! This time Azrael
In my AU, Heaven, much like Hell, is run in seven rings based on the seven virtues, "Humility", "Patience", "Temperance", "Charity", "Chastity", "Kindness", and "Diligence". Azrael is the virtue of Patience and leads the Ring of Patience that orbits the palace of God, also known as Heaven's "Sun".

One of the animals listed to represent patience was owl. There are other animals also associated with patience, but I had more ideas with "owl". Azrael specifically takes after the Barred Owl!
Azrael is major story teller, has an absolute love for stories, fiction and nonfiction. He's very popular among young heavenborn and newly Dead (Called winners in HH, but I don't call them that in my AU) as they come to listen to his retellings of Heaven's history or just his little fantastical stories that capture the children's imaginations. He's often present when new souls arrive in heaven, and can also commonly be seen helping lost souls of the recently deceased. His secondary title is the Angel of Death, but it is not one he displays.
Many of his stories take inspiration from the lives of humans he has helped.
More OC posting 👌
This time I want to show off some of the actual angels in my AU, starting with Michael!
In my AU, Heaven, much like Hell, is run in seven rings based on the seven virtues, "Humility", "Patience", "Temperance", "Charity", "Chastity", "Kindness", and "Diligence". Michael is the virtue of Charity and leads the Ring of Charity that orbits the palace of God, also known as Heaven's "Sun".
Disclaimer: This isn't based on much of anything in biblical lore (that I know of), I just thought the idea was neat and ran with it 👍My characterizations of these angels and heaven in general also may or may not follow biblical lore and that's okay! The animal commonly associated with Charity is the pelican, which is what his wings take after. Had a lot of fun with him!
Michael is considerably sweet and caring, and loves spending time with others. He's the only angel that has any sort of relationship with [my] sins, though this is unknown to the rest of the angels and God. Due to his charitable nature, he tends to be very generous with his time and often forgets about himself whilst helping others.
"Fascinating Snowflakes" - Featuring Randy, another baphomet OC
Randy is the fifthborn of [my] Belphegor and Mimi. They do have a large family, but they're so fun to think about and create for. No regerts, and I'm sure there'll be more because I have no control. I'm cursed to make a ridiculous amount of OCs.
Randy was born extremely prematurely, almost dying in the process. By luck, he did survive. He was born with a half and half mutation, half his body containing his father's dark colors, while the other half took his mother's light colors. Randy takes on a lot of Bel's very early (think his time as an angel early) personality, in that he's prone to angry outbursts and sometimes even violent. The biggest issue is he's very magically inclined and can't control when he uses it. This has lead to some unfortunate accidents. He doesn't like his brothers, but loves his sister and parents. He gets along best with Bel between his parents.
"Snowmammon" - Featuring Nimbus and Cyrus, twin baphomet OCs
Nimbus (left) and Cyrus (right) are the third- and fourthborn (respectively) children of [my] Belphegor and Mimi. Visually, they're mostly identical, barring their wing type. Personality wise? Same deal. Overall, they're trouble makers and enjoy causing mischief. Nimbus is the more outspoken one while Cyrus more on the quiet thoughtful side.
The snowman is their snowy rendition of [my] Mammon
"Dancing in Winter" - Featuring Neva, another baphomet OC, and Kade, a swan Goetia OC
Neva is the daughter and secondborn of [my] Belphegor and Mimi. Contrary to her parents and siblings, she's fairly soft spoken and some might even consider her shy. Even so, she's very passionate about the things she loves and enjoys, most notably her family and bonds. She also has a high interest in becoming a doctor like her father, and often goes with him to his hospital when she's not busy.
Neva befriends and eventually starts dating Kade, a swan leaning Goetia prince, the firstborn of my version of Stolas and Stella. Unlike his snooty parents, he tries to befriend and defend "lowly hellborn", though he can come off as white knighty instead of helpful. He often doesn't realize just how privileged he is. Needless to say, his parents, mostly his father, are terrified of his dating choice.
"Fluffy Coat Collar" - Featuring Mimi, a baphomet OC
She likes the fluffy coats. Since I drew her husband in the kind of coat he'd wear, I thought it'd only be right to draw her similarly. Also to follow the theme of winter/winter wear.
You can see her original post here, but to add onto it, I think of her as a very strong and independent woman who got lucky with her last choice in partners. While I wouldn't call her spoiled or entitled, she definitely leans into the richer side of fashion and desires after she marries Bel. Her relationship is a loving and happy one.
Other posts involving her ->
"Regal Coat" - Featuring my version of Belphegor
After drawing Leviathan in his santa getup, I wanted to draw Bel in a more regal appearance using a similar coat style. I'm quite happy with how he came out, even if he looks solemn
You can learn more about [my] Belphegor, as well as the au he's involved in, here. It links to all other posts related to him as well.
"Happy Birthday!" - Featuring my version of Belphegor
I try to give most of my characters birthdays, just for fun. I gave Bel the birthday of December 31st. You can read more about my Bel here. This also contains links to other posts related to Belphegor
He doesn't care for his birthday, and, if given the choice, chooses not to celebrate it. He doesn't dislike birthdays, and doesn't mind celebrating others' birthdays. He just doesn't care about his own. Unfortunately for him, his siblings and family don't feel the same way.
He doesn't fuss about them celebrating him on the condition they don't go all out and absolutely no surprise parties or huge crowds. If he must celebrate, he's more of a small gathering/special family dinner type of guy.
"Every Christmas Party Needs a Reindeer" - Featuring my version of Belphegor
My favorite sin. Absolutely one of my favorite characters I've made. They made him dress as a reindeer, but he refuses to go any further in costume than this.
Bel is, by technicality, a helluva boss/hazbin hotel OC. He's part of an AU I dubbed Sins of a Feather that uses the same base concept that HH/HB uses, except I use my own characters/versions and stories. You can learn more about [my] Belphegor ->
