Hmmm. Well I have several favorites.

Angela is my first. I love her obsession with mushrooms and her quirky thoughts. (Also when she scolds Eragon about cursing Elva).

Kin Orrin would be my second. Although I hate how his persona changes in the last two books. When we first meet him he’s very sciencey and experimenting and I immediately loved him. But then war came and he became this bitter old man and blah blah. I mean understandable because he was a battle hardened warrior and Nasuada was very impulsive and he hated that and blah blah.

Arya, I know people where disgruntled with her may-sue like status and her coldness. But she warmed up more in Brisingr and I kinda liked that aloof demanour (its somewhat reflected me at that time). Her actions in the last two books warmed my heart and I really enjoyed her character development.

And Saphira, my proud self indulgent dragon. I love her. So self righteous and narcissistic but with a heart of gold and momma duck to Eragon.

Least Favorite:

Elva, Urg. I understand she had this curse and she was bitter and wanted nothing to do with the Varden after the curse was “lifted”, but her whole presence just irked me.

Birgit too. Like just leave Roran alone, please. It wasn’t technically Rowan’s fault. You just hold grudges.

The twins, the little slime balls. Hated them from the first scentence.

Trianna: don’t even get me started on her.
