So, this happened....
On Sunday, I was timed out in a discord server I am in for breaking the rules of "No discussion of Religion or Politics." I didn't politics at all like talk about my many many issues with Liberalism. No, it was because my discord and Twitch avatar was of an Anarcho-Syndicalist flag with the Anarchist symbol. And I have "Free Palestine" in my stream titles.
I understand how my friends views a discord server for having a rule of "No discussion of Religion or Politics," to be a yellow flag. I agree with that.
And I know streamers that prefer not to discuss Religion or Politics on their streams because "It can get contentious." And most streamers just want to stream a video game and not have arguments. "Good Vibes only" and that sort of thing.
I guess I am didn't and welcome the contentious of discussing politics. I ask, why does it get contentious when discussing politics? I am passionate about politics because I have one disabled friend that has to beg online in order to live for past 7 years since I known her. She probably begging online for money before she met me. And now the number of disabled friends that I have that on again off again been begging online in order to live is up to five or six. Been like that for the past two years, at least.
And I hate how being against genocide and being against the genocide against the Palestrina people is considered "political."
So, in order to not be timed out, I need to change my discord and Twitch avatar to something "apolitical." The USA flag is "apolitical" I bet. But having an avatar of the USA flag on fire I bet is "political." Besides, being apolitical is also a political position too. And I have to promise to not post "Free Palestine" in my stream titles. Oh well.
So I will change something. I will try to remember to remove "Free Palestine" from my stream titles. Especially on YouTube. Just for that discord server though.
And I have already changed my discord and Twitch avatar to a different flag. A Trans Non-binary flag. Because that shouldn't be political.
