Why should someone have a better life than others?
Some liberals just don't understand me. And I have just accepted that. I just wish Liberals weren't Liberals. And then maybe they can understand me better after that.
But I think one of the many things can't understand about me is how I don't know why someone should have a better life than others. Why do some people "deserve" to have a better life than others.
A major concede of Liberalism is that inequality is inevitable. Because Liberalism accepts Capitalism as a given. Capitalism is just straight up inequality because of class system of owners over workers. And also this notion of individual freedom and liberty thus individuals to excel and succeed.
Now progressive Liberals want the floor to be raised. For there to be no poor or as little poor as possible because everyone has what they need to live. Housing, food, healthcare, water, education, transportation, heating, electricity, the internet, everything.
But what those who are "successful?" Bob Chipman, Moviebob, explicitly said something to this effect of, "If you invented a functioning jet pack, or direct an incredible movie, or make an amazing work of art, you should reward for that by being a millionaire and have a mansion. I am sorry, but greatest should be rewarded." Or something along those lines.
But I actually question that. Why should someone be a millionaire? Why should someone get a mansion for something they did? And what is so special about what they did compare to others? And that where the rubber meets the road between me and Liberals. I actually don't think anyone deserves to have a mansion or be a millionaire over others. Or I haven't been convinced that some people are just greater than others and deserve to have a greater life than others. I ask why?
