6. Selphie Tilmitt, FFVIII

Selphie is by far my favorite character in Final Fantasy VIII. She's friendly, cute, funny, and has a great sense of humor.  Selphie is of course nice to everyone.  Some of the other characters seem annoyed by each other, but if Selphie feels that way too, she doesn't make it known.  That involves a lot of patience.  Either that, or she really does love everyone, which is even better!  I wish I had the capacity to love everyone... I get annoyed too easily sometimes... 

Notice the impossibility of Selphie's hair?  Me too.  And I love it!  I'm a fan of people who look or dress different than "normal."  Selphie's impossible hair is one of my favorite things about her appearance.  It's so freaking weird!  I love it!

And as I mentioned before, Selphie is cute and funny.  She's a very charming and sweet person, delighting in simple things, such as music and trains.  She doesn't seem to get all wrapped up in romance to the point that it consumes her life, which is always good.  And I believe she made a joke about skinning a moomba and eating it?  I don't remember what exactly she said, but it was really morbid and I liked it. ;)

One last thing: Selphie is brave, fighting all those monsters and enemies at the young age of seventeen... And her limit break is amazing!  She can cast spells multiple times, which is very useful.  Her limit also doesn't take the spells out of your reserves, which is even better.  That alone is grand, but the coolest thing about her limit is her "The End" spell, which I personally have never gotten, but I think it's hella-fucking cool that it's a possibility.  Watch out for cute little Selphie...  It's a rare occurrence... but she may be able to end your life with one simple spell...  No one else can do that...
