Sirius is a big nerd who makes remus mixtape after mixtape and leaves them in his locker. He's v embarrassed when he finds out Remus dsnt have a cassette player. He gets him one for his bday, revealing himself as the secret (not so secret) mixtaper
- Sirius is the sort of epic nerd who relates everything to song lyrics. Like from how he feels about his breakfast to how his hair is behaving that day.
- So it’s no surprise when he starts having a crush on the adorable nerd in his physics lecture, every love song ever reminds him of Remus Lupin.
- Who is kind of swotty with his hand-knit jumpers, but also has the most punk-rock torn jeans and scars from Sirius can’t even begin to guess what.
- And it’s the early nineties so ofc Sirius has his stereo in his bedroom-it was a gift from James because his parents would never ever let him have something so common and listening to the radio? That’s a Black family N-O.
- So he listens so quiet to the songs, and has a million blank tapes and has gotten so good at pushing record and pause RIGHT BEFORE the DJ starts talking again. And he’s scouring the airwaves for his favourite seventies and eighties pop love songs–and maybe some disco.
- And he fills one tape and slips it into Remus’ bag when he’s not looking with a small sticky note that just says, “These make me think of you.” No name because he’s like…romantic.
- Basically he does it once a week because he’s a huge, pining nerd.
- And Remus and him talk sometimes now because they get partnered for a big project and Remus never mentions the tapes like…ever? And Sirius kind of wants to be found out at some point so he starts making his handwriting so obvious.
- But Remus never says anything.
- In March Sirius offhandedly mentions James’ birthday like, in a way that’s like maybe this nerd will get I’m trying to ask him out here? But instead Remus shrugs and says, “Oh wizard. It’s my birthday this month too.”
- Sirius kind of wants to cry. Or jump across the table and shake him. Or kiss his beautiful mouth.
- Instead he says, “Oh I’m thinking of getting Jamie some tapes for his birthday. What are your favourites?”
- And Remus shrugs. “Oh well, I don’t have a tape player or anything so I wouldn’t really know. My mam has this old turn-dial radio but that’s about it.”
- OFC he doesn’t have a tape player.
- So Sirius drags James shopping and finds the most expensive Walkman on the planet, really, with squashy headphones and it’s clunky with all these dials but he will be damned if Remus doesn’t finally realise Sirius is trying to woo him with beautiful song lyrics.
- James thinks he’s mad, but also cute?
- Sirius meticulously wraps the present. He spends like forty whole minutes on the bow itself. Then writes a big note and decides, Piss it, “From your secret admirer, Sirius O Black.”
- He leaves it in Remus’ bag.
- Remus doesn’t notice, or doesn’t say anything, and Sirius is crushed.
- Until the following Monday he’s walking to class slow, head down like a sad Charlie Brown and he’s grabbed by the sleeves of his leather jacket and pulled into a supply cupboard.
- Oh. It’s Remus. And he’s grinning.
- “I just spent forty-eight hours straight listening to all those tapes you made me.”
- Sirius is blushing. So hard. “So you liked them?”
- Remus nods and even in the dark Sirius is pretty sure he’s blushing too. “So is this where I get to kiss you?”
- And Sirius’ stomach drops to his knees and he’s barely able to croak out a, “God yes,” before Remus’ lips are on his.
- When tapes become obsolete along with recording off the radio, it doesn’t stop Sirius from finding ways to make mixed cds, because Sirius Black will be damned if he doesn’t constantly woo his boyfriend with love songs.
- And Remus Lupin will be damned if he doesn’t go a single day listening to them.

Deamus Thoughts; because I can’t these two out of my head
- Dean is bi; Seamus is gay (though I’m flexible on Seamus’s sexual orientation)
- Seamus realizes he loves Dean long before Dean realizes he loves him back
- Seamus realizes his crush on Dean when Dean starts dating Ginny
- Dean doesn’t get that he has a crush on Seamus until Ginny tells him they’re breaking up because “they’re both substitutes for who the other really wants” and basically spells it out for him because Ginny is a bamf and knows all things
- Seamus definitely slept in Dean’s bed during 7th Year with a picture of the two of them on his pillow
- Dean had the same picture in his pocket while he was on the run
- Neither of them return for their 7th year
- Dean sort of hides in the Muggle world for a few months after the war and Seamus does his best to adjust because he understands how scary the magical one must still feel to Dean
- They don’t finally get it together until a year after the war is over and they’re sharing a flat together
- Dean says ‘I love you’ first
- Dean loves to tease Seamus about his height and often offers to get him a chair before they kiss so he doesn’t strain his neck
- Seamus likes to whisper filthy things in Dean’s ear to make him blush in retaliation
- Seamus secretly likes it when Dean carries him around the flat
and also when they’re fucking - They spend a lot of time kissing each other’s scars
- Seamus likes to pretend not to understand football just because it gets Dean all riled up and that’s super sexy
- The Quidditch vs football bicker battle will never end
- Dean’s mum is okay with their relationship; Seamus’s mum needs a few years to adjust
- Sometimes Dean will disappear into their spare bedroom for days just for some quiet time and Seamus totally gets it
- Ginny is the “best man” at their wedding
