(jumping into middle of interview, they’re talking about Makoto & Rin’s relationship)

Interviewer: True, they have slightly different feelings for each other than they do for their other friends.

Tatsuhisa: I think that even within “Free!,” Makoto and Rin’s relationship is a little unique. They’re friends, but it’s not that they’re supporting each other, and it’s not that they compete with each other as rivals; they can exchange words on an even field.

So Makoto and Rin’s relationship is even; what kind of existence do you think Haruka is for Makoto?
