i wish it was possible to show how goros perception of teddie changed in english like in japanese with him going from calling teddie hanamura-san to just kuma

or teddie quickly getting on very friendly level with goro calling him by his first name or even goro-chan in some situations (but also doing the full name treatment when hes upset with him)

PQ2 side mission about foraging for food to cook a meal for yusuke and the gang™:

yusuke: i eat grass all the time

me: lol

yusuke: bc I spend all of my money on art supplies, and I'm so starving, that i literally eat fistfuls of grass from the ground outside

me: :(

another yogo thought....

i keep imagining ways that yosuke/goro would get together, and in pq2, teddie is really clingy towards akechi. he latches onto him like immediately

so like imagine

teddie just all over goro when they first meet, and yosuke just so flustered trying to get teddie to "leave this poor guy alone" and "stop jumping all over him"

yosuke apologizing profusely to a shell shocked goro, who isn't used to getting attention so up close and personal

and as soon as goro's brain catches up with him, and he just zones out yosuke admonishing teddie, his first thought is "oh my god... this guy's pretty cute.."

cue teddie wanting to see goro again, and yosuke tagging along as my personal excuse to have goro and yosuke flustered over each other while being cute and doting on teddie together♡

I accidentally came across my old yogo posts and I cannot believe I forgot to post one of the first reasons why I thought yosuke/goro is so good

okay, so of course I feel they both would have some pretty quick, surface-level attraction to each other based solely on goro's good looks and charming demeanor, and yosuke's affinity for leadership and the way he dotes on those he cares about♡

but I also feel like a really good dynamic is goro and yosuke discovering the dark, murky parts of each other too. like goro seeing yosuke get pushed to brink protecting someone, and letting out his bloodthirsty side when ppl dear to him are threatened (like that time yosuke straight up almost killed a guy for nanako)

and goro is just looking at yosuke's unrestrained rage like doki doki♡

I still stand by my old posts about them falling for each other over yosuke's doting and protective nature over goro, but mmmm them connecting on this darker level with each other is good too<3

Akechi don’t make me sad, this is supposed to be a fun game.

Okay I had to look up the translation for “glitzy” to see if it JD any other meaning than the obvious? And apparently it has?

Whatever, I’m just amused about Akechi h I g to keep up his Persona not only about the thieves but so many random and weird teenagers/attendants. Poor boy just wanted to assassinate one boy and now has to fight dinosaurs.

I really love the idea of yosuke and goro being really cutesy, and flustered around each other

in that like love at first sight kind of way

(bc god goro's so pretty.. he's gotta be some kind of model, right??

and yosuke is just so cute, dorky, and endearing♡)

but like

i also can't stop thinking about the two of them really getting off on the wrong foot bc hello?? yosuke literally can't go two seconds without shoving his foot in mouth. and goro has emotional walls up to the moon and back

so like imagine; ; goro spending more time with yosuke (ie during the events of pq2), and noticing how smart yosuke really is. how surprisingly capable and reliable this doofy seeming guy is. (yosuke as the self proclaimed "chief of operations" for the investigation team)

also pls think about goro spending time with yosuke and teddie and noticing how it immediately comes off as yosuke constantly reprimanding teddie and seeming so annoyed with him. but in actuality, yosuke is always giving in and doting on teddie; ;♡ always indulging him with cute new clothes, delicious treats, and the occasional, put-upon piggyback ride

goro picking up on how sweet yosuke is to teddie and how much he obviously loves him and pampers him, even when he acts like an irritated older brother, exasperated by his kid brother's antics

so basically, over time, goro starts noticing how smart, brave, and caring yosuke is and somehow, slowly, falling in love with this dorky, embarrassing guy

. . . .

I still feel like yosuke would fall pretty quickly just based on goro's looks, and how he presents himself as the cool, and charming, detective prince

and while he'd definitely be weak to goro's charms, I feel like yosuke discovering goro's rage and despair would touch on a deeper understanding and connection for him, and yosuke would just compulsively feel the need to protect him and make sure he knew he wasn't alone
