Solstice
Part 2 of Liminality, a NG+ AU with a twist.
Goro and Akira head for the location of the first and oldest Liminal, hoping to find more clues about Akira’s mission and the nature of the cognitive world itself, but their alliance is still uneasy. Despite agreeing to help Akira, the prospect of aiding Akira’s suicide mission is beginning to look even less appealing, and Goro finds himself troubled by emotions he’d rather not name. With Shido breathing down his neck and his own memories haunting his every step, he has more important things to worry about than his preoccupation with Akira’s reckless bargain. However, the labyrinthine depths of the Liminal are unforgiving, and among the formless monsters stalking the halls waits a new threat, one that won’t let either of them run away anymore.

anon,,,thank u for asking me this i live for tattoo akira,,,,
i thought it would be easier to draw than explain but this is pretty much what i do for him!! i sometimes add different tattoos depending on aus or just like. my mood (or take away, like an au where the pt logo doesn’t apply lol), but the look i go for is just very graphic and pretty much ripped directly from p5′s menu/ui bc i love it soooo much & i feel like it’s meant to be akira’s preferred aesthetic. so lots of stars (pls pretend i can draw stars jdfgbhg) and pt elements. but really i’m not much of a tattoo designer ;;; but with the way i characterize akira, i picture him with a few ^^

Hello!!! Thank you for asking (I love talking about this silly au haha)
The design I made for him was meant to be a syncretism of his original prince outfit, with aspects of his Loki/Black Mask outfit. It ties in with an au that I write from time to time.

-Colours are muted and far less bright, both to be a mixture between his old outfits, and to look more like a thief of course!
-The design was supposed to be more kingly, as opposed to princely- which is why I gave him the side coat. The design was supposed to give off a vibe of him growing and going from Prince -> king // or something like that haha…
-His mask (not depicted in the image you saw) is also a mix between his old crow mask and his black mask- and incorporates his clear/translucent red visor and shape.
-The v-shaped stripes you saw down the center of his uniform are meant to emulate the stripes of his black mask outfit (not well depicted in the drawing you saw)
-Lastly, the dark gloves! In the AU he takes on the role of both Light and Dark skills more seriously and his gloves happen to become dark. Mostly a design choice but there’s reason behind it!
Overall his redesign was meant to be an acceptance of both his outfits/personalities. In the AU he gets this design after realising his true motives for the story. (Leave that ambiguous :3c)

>> ICARUS, Akechi’s new persona
-Icarus is the man who escaped Labyrinth- but flew too high in his zealous escape and fell. (If that isn’t a metaphor i don’t know what is.)
-I was surprised to find out Icarus had never really been a proper Persona, which drove me to design him anyways.
-The reasoning behind him lies in the AU it’s tied to- because he falls from grace at Shidos’ ship and loses everything- and Icarus is who he recieves afterwards.
-The design relies on the mythology of Icarus and the theme of Judgement/Justice (his arcana) thus creating this design you see!
-The design is also based off of Akechis old and new designs- I.e. the mask/thing on Icarus’ head resembles the black mask/new mask.
-Icarus has cracks and bandages meant to emulate him having already flown to the sun- and survived. Take that as you will.
