Ok, so Anthony Mackie is just the nicest person ever! He recognized our cosplay, which earned me huge props from the husband, and we got major kudos for being completely original. He joked around with us while we set up for the shot, and he let me hug him…twice…which, in retrospect, seems weird, because total stranger running up and hugging, right? Oh, well.

While we were waiting for the signing to begin, he was out at the front of the queue, laughing and joking with the ECCC Minions and a few people coming by, and he was just really nice and personable.

Anyways, when we got to him in the autograph line, he remembered us and, since the line was pretty short, he spent a few minutes more talking to us, and even shared a CA:TWS Easter Egg based on our cosplay.

In short, nicest person in the world, and I’m so excited we got to meet him!

Bucky, finally in stained glass edition! With silverfoil (mirror glass) for his arm and beautiful snow glass for the background, because RUSSIA. Complete with sadness eyeliner of doom.

It is also now FOR SALE on etsy! Along with my other pieces. It would take a while to ship because of the logistics, but it’ll get there. 

The photos are terrible, my apologies. I was just really excited to post it. Almost done with my newest piece, ran out of solder before I could make the frame (sadness times infinity).

A Good Impression of Myself

So i’m ficcing (yup), and there’s a scene where the person treating Bucky’s memory loss obtains his uniform and family pictures to help him out. So we have his photo that came from his soviet file taped to the mirror. Below is a photograph of his three sisters after he “died” and next to that is a high school photograph of him with Steve.

Winter Soldier c. 1900

Because we can all agree the Soviets had no concept of aesthetic and the Tsar would have commissioned the House of Fabergé.

I saw Captain America: The Winter Soldier the other day. It was a cool costume.

This was both my first time using my new Mehron paints (which I LOVE) and my first ever attempt at body painting. Turns out painting your own arm is REALLY hard.
