For the entirety of Leon's so-called career, he'd been focused on ending bio-terrorism the only way they knew how; by killing. Meanwhile, a promising scientist, Anya Kalashnik had focused her own research on a cure. Her work had shown immense promise, all but reversing the cellular damage brought on by any of the known strains of viruses Umbrella and all those after Umbrella’s fall had unleashed on the world. She had been so close to a cure, and -

Not only did that not bode well for a potential cure, but if she could achieve something like that, then what kind of horrors could she unleash if guided by the wrong hands?
