People saying shit like " I was abused and didn't end up like Chloe and abused others so she doesn't deserve a redemption arc" are the most selfish people out there tbh. People deal with abuse differently, some do become abusers themselves and some don't. The fact Chloe was actually changing for the better back in season 3 showed how she wanted to change. I'm not saying that her accusing ladybug later on was right. It wasn't. But, again. Chloe really needed an adult figure to praise her for doing right and love her like her mother never did and nobody cared enough or understood the situation she was in. The fact the writers keep using her as a villain every two seconds is just sad at this point
Remember that special episode in season two when it was Christmas and Adrien went missing and at the end of the episode Gabriel invited all of his friends to celebrate Christmas with him? Yea,,, damn I actually liked him at that moment. A redemption arc didn't sound like a clownery back then.

Something I want to point out: KING ANDRIAS DOES CARE FOE MARCEY BUT IT DOESN'T JUSTIFY A REDEMPTION ARC. Thats exactly why I love him as a villain. He hopes there was another way, or another person that could be used but at the end of the day he obeys his master. That's what makes him such a good villain, knowing that what he is doing is wrong and is basically choosing to be evil. In miraculous for example, Gabriel sees his son as property and therefore doesn't see his abusive behavior as wrong. King andrias knows exactly what is he doing. Him being conflicted and aware makes him even a better villain, but it doesn't mean he deserves a redemption arc.
