He's a pig hedgehog to me
Pig for the fact he's pictured eating ribs all the time and Charlie called him a pig.
Hedgehog for the fact he was stabbed to death in the back and the quills would be the reminder of that.
Just wanted to let you know how much I love your take on Adam. Definitely one of my personal favorites; you capture his energy so well! The shapes and dynamism of your art make for pure eye candy and I feel so inspired looking at it. I hope you'll continue to draw him but I look forward to seeing anything you create. Have a good one!

Adam's shapes have been very fun to draw since they're so squishy, so I've been treating him as a cool down at the end of the day - so I'm sure you'll be seeing a bit more of him until I run out of ideas or put focus elsewhere! After all, still have my own little guys to focus on.
In general though, I like working with characters and their dynamics, so I'm glad it can be viewed as inspiring!

Basically, i wanted to redesign the books by hildegunst von mythenmetz Walter Moers in my style for uni....and these were the skecthes i did but to be fair i just wanted to draw more of Moerses characters xd
Ive known these books for a long time and its such a shame so little people know about them! Theyre mostly popular in germany and sadly they stopped translating them... Im not sure how i can sell you this series but City of Dreaming Books is great, it reminds me of grimms fairy tales but theyre humoristic as well, and moers did the illustrations for it himself... Recently a visual novel of the book i mentioned came out and its looking real pretty as well (also the books mostly feature non human characters which is cool for me i like creatures)

I made a terrible mistake of focusing on ONLY Adam and giving him fun shapes that I now have been drawing every night this week so far as a cool down.
I can not deny my love for narcissistic characters. Or a big guy.

I have been chipping away at redesigning Adolph for months now, and I've finally reached a point that I'm happy with (excluding wolf form)!
His lore:
The original werewolf, an immortal who failed to accept humility and defeat, unleashed a vengeful wrath in the mortal world, birthing a curse to those who are bit by him, and those bitten by the infected.
This was how rabies were introduced to the mortal world, the werewolf curse being a guise that died down as centuries passed, but the effects of rabies remained.
Adolph earnt a place in Hell in the Pride ring for what he has done, and he swears to himself to restrain himself best he can. He now roams in Hell as an intimidating pacifist until you give him good reason to attack.
Keep clear of his family, and do your best not to aggravate him.
