Just two men and their magical gay love child

Some post AU story stuff with Xehanort and Eraqus in their 30s! Xehanort researches hearts, heartless and keyblade wielder history, while Eraqus teaches it! Side note- Eraqus isn’t blind, he just has readers lol.

Also, given Xira (their son) is probably one of if not the first person to ever be created via memories, a LOT of people are definitely very shocked and confused when Eraqus talks about him, because he says things that imply Xira is a biological child despite he and Xehanort both being cis men.

Meet Xira, a Xehaqus fanchild! He’s technically part of the Blue timeline in the Time travel AU (I attached the graphic in case you forgot or haven’t seen it) and any concepts with him meeting others are purely crack and not canon to the AU at all, put it’s fun to throw ideas around.

I’m sure this begs the question. Um. HOW??? Xira’s creation is similar to Xion’s in that he was created via memories and put into a vessel, only it was Eraqus and Xehanort’s memories of one another and he was created as a baby to grow up. Essentially creating a magical gay love child that still fits into the kingdom hearts canon in terms of how the world building works, LMAO.

2: Aetas running into a baby Xira somehow. He knows exactly what he is but wants nothing to do with them. Too bad, because Aetas looks suspiciously like one of his dads, and Xira is super curious just like both of them.

3: Riku is incredibly confused by the existence of gay love children. Xira is probably a first and given Xehanort and Eraqus are both cis men, it leads to a lot of shock.

Edit: I should clarify, this is Blue timeline Eraqus (nicknamed Knight)— a version of him who becomes a better person way before time traveling. He travels to the Red timeline, where his Red timeline self (Lost) is the one who tries to kill Ven and Terra. Knight would have never tried to hurt his family when he got older, but he’s still VERY saddened to see the damage his other self did.

Sad little time travel AU Eraqus feeling the impacts of all the awful things his other self does in another timeline. It’s hard to see people you love flinch when you so much as move too quickly, but the things his other self did to Ven and Terra were so horrifying, can you blame them for being on edge?

Eraqus is easily one of my favorites in the whole series but I’m no apologist, that guy was a BASTARD. Though I enjoy exploring alternate realities where he wasn’t that way, I do wholeheartedly acknowledge that canon Eraqus is an awful, awful old man lol.

Aetas and Lost (Red timeline Xehanort and Eraqus, who turn out more like their canon counterparts) have real fights and pent up anger toward each other

Rook and Knight (Blue Timeline Xehanort and Eraqus, who. Romance each other and both learn to be better people) have pretty wrestling matches over stupid pranks..

BBS in a nutshell

Little tribute to everyone who’s been asking me to draw more Fable. My sister recently said she wanted to see what would happen if I designed her now. Funnily enough, I really didn’t see much I actually wanted to change? So instead this is just me drawing her in my current style.

I’m sure that begs the question— why did I stop? A lot of people have been asking, especially in Tumblr and YouTube, so I will explain why. Honestly? Hyperfixations just change. But there’s more to it than that.

Most of my current struggles surround how differing ideologies affects my relationships, so when it comes to fandom and writing AUs, I get a lot of catharsis out of expanding on stories that have that sort of thing as a base. Fantasy is really good at giving you a chance to detach yourself from events enough to kind of re-asses how you approach life using the way the characters approach it. While Linked universe does have some of these qualities, there’s really nothing I have to say beyond what the source material puts on the table. I love the fight between Wind and Wild about kings, for example, but I also don’t have anything to add to it because in my opinion it’s already perfect. But inKingdom hearts? There’s so much I have to say on it.

I still care very deeply about writing relationships though, and Fable and Legend are very near and dear to my heart as such. I just don’t have anything new to say about the topic, so unfortunately they’ve taken a backseat. I hope people can respect that— because as much as I love how much y’all love what I did there, I’ve gotten some rude comments too and the lack of engagement on my new content has also become a little crushing.
