@exhaustedpirate It’s pretty sad that I am running about a month behind in my reading, but still I had to let you know that I love the start you’ve gotten off to with this fic! The prologue had such a sense of destiny to it; the tone very much sounding like an old folk or fairy tale. I felt so horrible for the Truest Believer’s poor parents, and for the babe left all alone in the world, but anxious to see who will cross his path and help him as he grows.
And with this first chapter, and meeting Killian, the adventure and excitement grows. I love how Killian waltzes right into danger, outnumbered by Blackbeard and his men, but not afraid at all. And then he sees the boy, and feels that kinship and connection- oh! It got me right on the heart!! So well done!!! ❤️ This is going to be quite the ride, I can tell already!! Thank you for sharing it with us!
