Sorry for the late response, I've been battling a fever the past week and i wanted to at least be coherent before I answered this, lol. Thank you for the ask and hey hey, I'm glad you're enjoying the story!

You're right. Things will definitely get worse before they get better, but, if you don't mind me saying/spoilering slightly, at the very least be comforted with the fact that I do NOT intend to leave the fic on an unhappy note! No bad-end here. Who knows, I MAY very well miiiiiight leave the skruncky wet cat a little less wet and skrunckly by the time it's all over... ;) Although, an ending is a while off, as there's still so, so many things I still want to do before it's all over, my goodness...

I may not get writing ball ACTUALLY rolling again until January though due to taxing real-world stuff I'm trudging through right now so updates will be very, very slow 'til then. Just bare with me! As always, this story is never abandoned, it just goes on mini-hiatuses sometimes!

It's FINALLY HERE, WHOOP WHOOP!! It only took half the year for me to get back to this story. (Big yikes.)

I hope you enjoy! It a bit ramble-like but it's a smaller plot progression chapter and it was getting to the point where if I didn't post anything soon, I was gonna go stir-crazy.
