Its name is derived from parts of the preset names that the player can choose for themselves and their rival, specifically "Jack" and "Red".
i don't wanna be That Guy and ruin people's fun, but while i'm very appreciative of any love people give my art here, i would rly appreciate if we could put the word scrungly/skrunkly/whatever other variations away for a bit, or at least, i ask you to do so if you're going to interact with my stuff.
i don't know about other artists on here, but it comes off as waay less of a compliment than most treat it as. comes off as much more of an insult ie: 'wow your art is weird, you draw characters weird/ugly!' especially when, from my point of view, i'm just drawing normal people! i'm drawing people how i personally view myself. i like to emphasize features i see on myself so like, understandably, it doesn't feel great! i ask people to please just be respectful, ty! ✌️

aka: ive been thinking so very hard abt aro volo lately. also have a small headcanon that despite being aro, he still likes sweet lil love stories very much, its like a guilty pleasure
i think a lot abt how hes clearly a very social, chatty person and how much hed Love to share his interests, and still purposefully has to isolate himself to keep safe and keep himself from developing any bonds and how much that has to ache for him waaa.... my guy loooongs, he longs for a QPR.

In some ways, Volo was thankful most did not pry into him. Most would shrug their shoulders at the notion of him ever ‘settling down’, say he was in love with his work. Married to his studies. And in some ways, maybe so. In some ways, it was all he had. The only way to find the very right human connection that Volo, and only Volo, had longed for. Amateur anthropology.
