But like, imagine Jinx being courted by Viktor??? The repressed horniness??? Jinx having a poro instead of like, a dog?? The complete chaos of it all because Jinx is always chaotic?

I’m gonna keep spitballing ideas onto this post as they come to me as a distraction from my surgery anxiety and because I didn’t read a bunch of Regency romance novels to procrastinate writing my undergrad thesis for no reason

Okay but like, imagine Jinx as kind of an outcast debutante being presented by her single father (Silco) who wants to give his adopted daughter everything good in the world he never had, including material possessions and making sure she’s taken care of as his body is breaking down and he doesn’t want Jinx to be alone in the world. So he wants Jinx to find a match and Jinx is like “bet” lmao

And then there’s Viktor. Academic, scientist, assistant to the distinguished Lord Heimerdinger who is very much not looking for any sort of entanglement whatsoever.

That is, until he meets Jinx. High society shenanigans and fluff ensue

Also if anyone has watched the second season of Bridgerton, that fucking scene where Benedict takes all of Colin’s edibles and mixes them into his tea and goes to a family dinner tripping absolute balls?

Yeah, that scene except Jayce is the one high off his ass and Viktor has to deal with this dumb motherfucker thinking “I don’t get paid enough for this”

I was sitting here trying to figure out the relationship with Silco and Jinx and Vi and I think Silco is definitely one of those wealthy men who never married, and Jinx a foundling after a traumatic separation between her and Vi.

And Jinx….finds herself thrust into a high society world she doesn’t fully belong to, similar to how Viktor is as an assistant to Heimerdinger. Choosing between the security her father wants for her vs the love match that her relationship with Viktor is becoming…
