Marvel’s already kind of revealed how this whole thing will end as they announced a new title coming later this year starring a new Sorceress Supreme. But this issue by Jed MacKay and Lee Garbett wraps up the battle with The Three Mothers and Doctor Strange’s murderer, and shows us what’s gonna happen to the young, time-displaced Doctor Strange who popped up earlier in the series. Because magic.

The last month of the year will bring two more tie-in specials for The Death of Doctor Strange, featuring Blade by Danny Lore and Dylan Burnett, and then Black Knight teaming up with the X-Men (and Faiza Hussain!) by Si Spurrier and Bob Quinn.
We know that Doctor Strange will kick the bucket later this year in the pages of The Death of Doctor Strange, but who will take his place as Marvel’s Sorcerer Supreme? It sounds like we’ll find out in the fourth issue of the miniseries in December.
