“BAMF!” meets “THWIP!” as Nightcrawler steps into the spotlight in this five-issue Fall of X miniseries, which writer Si Spurrier describes as “pure, joyful, bold, fun superheroic action.” He’s joined by artist Lee Garbett, as they showcase Kurt Wagner battling Orchis and Spider-Man’s rogues, as well as solving a long-simmering mystery involving his mother, Mystique.

Prior to this year’s summer X-men event, Fall of X, (yes, I know that’s confusing … why not “Summer of X”?) Marvel will release four one-shots that will “tie up long-simmering plotlines, reintroduce major players and put all the pieces in place for the dramatic events of the third annual Hellfire Gala.” They include:

The project is a co-production between Image Comics and Éditions Dupuis, and will arrive in both English and French next year.

Si Spurrier and Nathan Gooden present a new horror series set in 1899 that delves “into the horror and madness of the wild Yukon.” It also features giant spiders.
The last month of the year will bring two more tie-in specials for The Death of Doctor Strange, featuring Blade by Danny Lore and Dylan Burnett, and then Black Knight teaming up with the X-Men (and Faiza Hussain!) by Si Spurrier and Bob Quinn.
