Back in the early 1990s Wolverine, Spider-Man, Ghost Rider and Hulk had a brief team-up in the pages of Fantastic Four while the actual Fantastic Four were out of town. It was a fun story by Walt Simonson and Art Adams that only last a few issues. But now Marvel will revisit that team — and time period — in The New Fantastic Four, a limited series by Peter David and Alan Robinson.

Peter David returns in July to tell more tales of Symbiote Spider-Man with Symbiote Spider-Man: Crossroads. David teams up with Greg Land, Jay Leisten, and Frank D’Armata for a new miniseries that sees their alternate reality Spider-Man swinging into the Crossroads Dimension, where the Hulk resided for a short time back in the 1980s. The first of five issues arrives July 28.

Immortal Hulk has connected with both critics and fans, as Al Ewing and Joe Bennett have offered a new take on an old favorite. That new take does have its roots in past Hulk comics, and this week Marvel reprints two of them in one volume: Incredible Hulk -1 by Peter David and Adam Kubert, and Incredible Hulk #312 by Bill Mantlo and Mike Mignola. It also includes a new story. [Marvel, $4.99, in comic stores Sept. 16]
