Punchline, the sidekick to Joker first introduced in 2020, gets a miniseries in October titled Punchline: The Gotham Game. It’s written by the wife-and-husband team of Tini and Blake Howard, with artwork by Gleb Melnikov.
DC’s new Infinite Frontier era continues with another new creative team, as Mariko Tamaki and Dan Mora take over Detective with issue #1034 this week. It’ll continue some of the anti-vigilante themes they introduced during Future State’s Dark Detective miniseries, and also includes a Damian Wayne back-up by Joshua Williamson and Gleb Melnikov.
This week DC also brings back its regular monthly titles, which took a hiatus during Future State. Right out of the gate comes Batman #106, as James Tynion IV and Jorge Jimenez team Batman up with Ghost-Maker to battle a new Gotham gang that might be connected to Scarecrow. This issue also sees the debut of the Robin back-up feature by Joshua Williamson and Gleb Melnikov, which will set up the launch of Damian Wayne’s own title in April.

Jinny Hex, whose family tree includes a certain famous cowboy from the DC universe, breaks out of the (now canceled) Young Justice into her own one-shot this week, by Magdalene Visaggio and Gleb Melnikov. In it, she goes up against a new foe named Three-Eyed Jack, who transports her home town to the Old West.
