Image Comics has revealed a new action figure for Junkyard Joe, from Geoff Johns/Ghost Machine’s comic of the same name. Created in partnership with Mezco Toyz, the figure features a cloth uniform, authentic accessories and packaging with new artwork by co-creator Gary Frank and colorist Brad Anderson.
Out this week: The Blizzard (Image Comics, $14.99):
Geoff Johns and Andrea Mutti’s story from Image! 30th Anniversary Anthology #1-12 gets collected into one trade paperback. It’s set in the same world as Johns’ Geiger and Junkyard Joe, and features a group of convicts and transport guards stranded on a Colorado mountain during a blizzard, where a ferocious monster threatens to tear them all apart in retribution.

Geoff Johns and Gary Frank return to the world of Geiger for a two-issue miniseries that explores the origins of Tariq Geiger and the world he inhabits. No doubt this will set the stage for the new Geiger series coming from the recently announced Ghost Machine.

Geoff Johns and Todd Nauck team up once again for another tale featuring Stargirl. This one spins out of last week’s The New Golden Age one-shot as Stargirl and Red Arrow search for all those missing teenage sidekick heroes from the Golden Age of comics (some of whom never really existed until recently).

Geoff Johns is back at DC, and this one-shot with art by Steve Lieber, Jerry Ordway and Diego Olortegui promises to “unlock DC’s epic and secret-ridden history of heroism, launching a new group of titles set firmly in the DC Universe.” It includes appearances by Justice Society of America, Legion of Super-Heroes, Mime and Marionette, Rip Hunter and more.

Out this week: Flashpoint Beyond #0 (DC, $5.99)
Geoff Johns returns to the world of Flashpoint, the 2011 event series that preceded the New 52 relaunch, with this new miniseries. It features Thomas Wayne, the Batman of the Flashpoint timeline, who has also shown up recently in Infinite Frontier and related titles, but also mashes in some of the writer’s Doomsday Clock characters, namely Marionette and Mime, somehow and for some reason. Eduardo Risso provides the art.
